UVA wouldn’t give little Millon #9 because an upperclassman had it. Little MM offered kid $3000 which resulted in a brawl. Somehow now the official roster shows two #9. He may be playing well on the field, but he seems to be as much of a hammerhead off of it as his old man. Apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Not being #9 would have really screwed up Daddy’s marketing plans. There is only one # 9 on UVA team and it is a future Hall of Famer whose father is a Hall of Famer. Iron sharpens Iron ! Iron sharpens iron, except when Dad has you transfer and repeat 8th grade, and manages the personnel on your youth club team, as well as the plays drawn up for the season, from 3rd grade onward. "Get the Ball to 9!" Can you imagine any other parent yelling "Pass the ball to my son!" and not getting absolutely dragggggggggged for it? More like Privilege sharpens Privilege. The results speak for themselves, No one cares what it took to get to top, just that you are there looking down on the rest of climbers, It's a fair point. The worst part of it is the thousands of parents working every angle of influence to copy this formula for their own family. How many times have I heard, "Oh we left that club because they announced that Dad Coaches wouldn't be allowed anymore." We've got moms out here writing their sons' emails to college recruiters (in the fake 1st person), dads telling their sons to absolutely weak their teammates in practice "so coach can see you got that dawg in you, hey there's no refs at practice!" I mean it's pretty gross out here. It's weirdly visible and on display at the private schools but it's every bit as bad at the public HS as well....a little better hidden.

Are any of the MIAA A schools playing public schools this year? I always look forward to those Public vs Private games. I know it has been a while since any of the MIAA A schools were knocked off by a public school. Typically, you will see Hereford, Severna Park, and Broadneck have an MIAA A school or two on their schedule.

What Loyola freshmen are leaving? Haven't heard of a single boy leaving any school this year. There's no 2027s - at least difference makers - on the move *within* MIAA. At the lower 50% of MIAA-A (including Loyola), if you are a 2027, you're looking around and seeing incredible opportunity to be seen and make a difference, even if it means you'll be taking some massive L's over the next 4 years. At Loyola in particular, 2026 recruiting was meh, 2027 was non-existent/flat lined, and 2028 was slightly better than 2026, so if you want to have an impact, go take it from the next guy.

No kid/parent is going to telegraph their plans mid-season. Let’s just say this group is kinda “Crabby” that they are on JV.

Loyola by 2 if the Prep attackman #2 who sat out of Gilman game plays. Loyola by 5 if he doesn't play.

So a family would leave a school with great tradition, facilities and staff to go to a school with worse facilities in league, academics, and can't even get the kids a full staff. Stay and compete or join a team that has lost 14 straight and counting league games. Loyola would be better off to flood the rats that don't want to compete and are happy to have 1a Fallston be there super bowl! What Loyola freshmen are leaving? Please leave and go if you are happy to have 1a Fallston and Curly be your super bowl! Plus I'm sure JC is smarter then to think JV drama prone transfers are going to get you to playoffs.

Those boys wont be leaving Loyola, Varsity or not. They all were in Loyola middle school and are more than happy there. Why doesnt everyone just relax and let the season play out? Let the coaches coach.

Severn wow! The Severn Fogo went 21 for 25 up until about four minutes in the fourth quarter when his coach pulled him from the game after they were down by a 10 point deficit. The defense, extremely timid, the offense more specifically the attack could not finish shots and the goalie really seems to be struggling to save any shots. It’s going to be a long year for that team if they don’t make some quick adjustments.

Very uninspiring performance by the Dons today for about 3/4 of the game. Multiple offensive turnovers and shot clock issues. Offense was all Cook. New coach has his work cut out for him.

It must be the day where every parent who has never played the game decided to post.
Every team in the league is competing to win but moreso prepping to figure out their team dynamics for league play.

Great tradition = having the talent yet sh!tt!ng the bed every year against CHC every year. How many championships do the dons have in the last 10 years? Maybe your sewer rat bench warmer should be one of the transfers?

All this high school lacrosse being played and we’re still taking about Millon. Millon trolling to keep his name out there. If Dons want to win, they need to hire him as coach.

Results were what they were for the Dons. I am willing to see what happens in next few weeks .
