Even worse....they added a "combine " this year . They keep grasping at straws to be relevant. And of course to top it off they broadcast some games on YouTube....if you happen to watch one and listen to them try to commentate a boys high school game you will probably turn it off after 2 minutes. They don't know a thing about boys lacrosse.on long island . Time to give it up winks .....nobody goes back to your excelsior after the first time there now so they go back to your silly " winter showcases " and the test if your " be seen " events . They have local coaches calling people up to fill these events now because nobody will go back Stick to your girl lacrosse tournamenta that you run and stop embarrassing yourselves

Another one that is terrible is the LI Lax Showcase . That event is also run by a local club/HS coach . The problem is he doesn't hide the fact that he's an igloo coach and invites all of the igloo teams there and it becomes an igloo infested selection with kids that can barely catch and throw . There is no real coach evaluating anything....it's igloo then adding in some other kids lol. Save your time and money . It's gotten so bad that the coach running it even picks up the phone to ask why some kids he knows didn't sign up when the numbers are light . He needs to get paid .

Nice job NLF and Matt chandik with your " inside lacrosse coaches poll rankings " so pathetic . Everyone knows that USCL is the only legit rankings that carry a mathematical formula which considers strength of opponents etc ......give it a rest you're me embarrassing yourselves yet again..no shame whatsoever. Which coaches did you poll exactly ? Why don't you show the results ?

They polled all nlf coaches just like their player rankings. It is a joke cannot believe college coaches even look at Inside Lacrosse or NLF rankings. Both are so biased. It also trickles into the high school school rankings.

My older son had several D1 offers that can be directly attributed to playing in the Nassau-Suffolk game a couple of years ago. He didn't play for Igloo and I don't think anyone on his team did. Be wary of parents whose kids aren't good enough to make these all-star game talking smack about them to make themselves feel better about it.

It also trickles into the high school school rankings. It's actually embarrassing....anyone that has a kid in youth lacrosse knows the real rankings are USCL. They are the only unbiased, mathematical, algorithm rankings that are legit . These clowns at the NLF have no shame and they even put "powered by the NLF ' on there lol. Go look at USCL rankings and see where those teams are that are ranked in the top 10. You can see who they played , what the score was etc ...and they are legit . Same exact formula as those for hockey rankings . This clown chandik is nothing more than a social media influencer . Pathetic

Sounds like a dad who used to be on igloo, didn’t play there, left, now his kid doesn’t play on new team. So bash igloo coach and tryout!
Looks like only 4 igloo kids made it for that 2027 team. Throw your theory out window

So to recap. Reclass your kid in K, 8th grade or both. Then put them on HGH. Prep school for a PG year. Redshirt their first yr of college. Brag about them playing in College. Then they take a job working for one of their peers who graduated on time 3-4 yrs before them. See a Dr for side effects of HGH use. Diabetes, heart disease and blood clots. Have them talk to a therapist weekly about how their parents screwed up their lives. Funny because it’s true.

The people posting in here have NO idea what they are talking about with regards to coaches and recruiting.
If you think college coaches won't recruit your son because they play for a public school, maybe your son just isn't good enough. Coaches will always find the talented kids. Amen to this. I do find it interesting that so many are focused on the rich kids. I think it’s more the good ole boy my dad is friends with so and so more than his dad is rich. I watch some lax moms maneuver like nobodies business. It’s who you know for sure. As someone calls it “preordained” Maybe networking is another word. But if you aren’t networking it seems your kid will get lost in the shuffle. Yes!! I tell my kid he better work harder because mommy and daddy don’t have the connections

Any comments from chandik, would love to hear them

Tough to figure out 2027. Mad Dog and Laxachusetts seem to be in a league of their own right now - with 91 Machine closely behind them. Kings and West Coast Starz round out the top 5. After that there are 15 or so teams, that can hang with the best on a given day, but just don’t seem to have the same consistency.

Slow day, so let’s break down the 2027 US Club Lax Top 15 Rankings: Mad Dog National Black: All-Star national team playing at a high level and with a lot of confidence. Hard to argue they’re not the best team right now, but have played some close games against questionable teams. ADVNC NDP: Have played only a west coast schedule and haven’t beaten anyone of significance. Don’t belong IMO. Laxachusetts: Have played some close games, but always find a way to win. They belong at #1 IMO. 29-0… enough said. Supreme Nationals: Nice win vs Mad Dog National Black at Naptown, but then lost to Primetime. Overall body of work is limited, so hard to say what’s going on with this team Evolve Elite Canada White: This team is scary good and tough, but just seems to lack consistency. Sweetlax Navy: Limited body of work, but offense powered by one of the best attackmen in 2027. BBL Elite Black: Sometimes they look like the best team in the country. Strong showing at Naptown, followed by some surprising losses at NAL. West Coast Starz Gold O’Neill: Fast and athletic but have lost a little consistency. Colorado Kings: Consistently good, but some surprising losses at the Great 8. Team 91 LI Machine: The team everyone wants to beat. Some strange losses last Fall (maybe players missing?) but appear to be back in the mix this summer. Next Level Blue: A real head scratcher. 14-6-1 record with zero wins of any significance and some ugly losses. Makes one question the US Club Lax algorithm Eclipse Black: really good team, and certainly belong near the top of the 10th - 30th ranked teams Sweetlax Upstate: a new team with the attackman they picked up last fall. Feel like they’re ranked a little higher than they should be, but the top 10-30 or so are all really close. Leading Edge: Another head scratcher. A good showing last Fall, but not even looking like a top 40 team this summer. Thunder National: These kids from Atlanta can play. There are 15 or so teams ranked below them that are probably better, but Thunder National’s ’s body of work is limited like some of the other National teams, so hard to argue too much here.
Who’s missing and who doesn’t belong?

NLF schedule just came out. 91 doing all they can to get Machine the #1 seed. Lax Yellow, Big 4 HHH and Tomahawks in their pool. Meanwhile, Colorado Kings and West Coast Starz (both legit contenders and top 10 teams - with the Kings as defending champs) put in the same pool. With 8 teams, only one team per pool advances. So blatantly obvious what is going on. BS should be ashamed.

His current club has offered to keep him on the roster but ideally we’d prefer a local club he can train with year round. Are any of the big LI clubs legitimately looking to turnover / add players at this age or are tryouts just a money grab / looking for players to fill out B team slots? Son is pretty good, he’s competed against all these teams over the years at various tournaments and performed well.

Not sure why " member clubs " fall for the same @ChillLaxin e ery year at the NLF tournament. Team 91 (dynamic/my lacrosse tournament) run the NLF and have always set up team 91 teams with cupcake schedules . It's sad , and e ery year all of the other " member clubs " just fall in line like fools. It's very very sad . And for all of the NLF talk about being the top teams . Take a look at NAL last week . Team ten beat 3 NLF teams and the Championship was team ten vs mad dog , two non NLF clubs . As has been stated here many times in the past , NLF is a watered down , team 91 controlled.joke It’s only been stated by one person, you, multiple times every year in the 27 thread. I’m pretty sure that the coaches on the sidelines scouting next weekend don’t think it’s a joke. Sure they don’t care about wins or losses either. 1- Team Ten parents settle down. You keep saying how watered down NLF is but keep complaining that you're not in it then point out when you beat an NLF team. Go play in your little Alliance thing, which to be clear is the definition of watered down. HHH will continue to place more kids than you and unless you change the banter you will forever been known as the club with the biggest inferiority complex ever. Your 26's are good but the rest of your years don't hold water. Question, if you got the invite to NLF would you go or you firmly believe the Alliance is the better tournament? 2- It really is comical how 91 gave all their teams the 3 weakest possible brackets out there. This is typical 91and not sure it will always work out for them. This year is whole new level in how easy they made their brackets. Yes coaches will be there and kids will be scouted but it still is really funny to see them figuring out who the worst teams are and then making sure the schedule gives them those games. It's their tournament so have it but at least take one challenging game. Def stay on turf and keep the best fields for your teams as that's your right as the tournament host. No one on here talking about how bad the Team 10 tournament is or how unfair so again T10 zip it. You don't even have a tournament and couldnt get people there even if you did. HHH all day long! I actually see your tents and teams and laugh. 3- Rankings across the board are @ChillLaxin but USCL is not the answer just because they have an algorithm. I was going to do a comprehensive comparison but I didn't make it past the latest 2025 rankings for USCL. Annapolis Hawks are ranked #1 with PT #2, and 91MD #3. PT just beat Hawks by 6 goals in the final of NAL and beat a Philly All Star team in the final of Naptown and beat Laxachussests in the Yale final yet Hawks are ranked above them. Hawks hasn't really beat anyone, unless you want to include Team 10. 91 MD similarly beat Team 10 (who cares) and hasn't lost a game since last summer, have played less but won tournaments that Hawks were at so how is it possible that Hawks are tanking above any of them when they have lost to each of them and not won any tournaments.........maybe asking the coaches is the right move. In looking at Crabfeast Schedule I did notice Team 10 lost 7-3 in the semis to Sweetlax Update, a mediocre NLF team so....yea point 1 again. Team 10 settle down. Take your invite to NLF or don't but quiet down. NLF is where your boys want to play. 4- In short, Team 10 complains a lot and only has 1 good team. Rankings are flawed and we can all pick things a part. Ask your kids and they want to win NLF more than any other tournament and certainly don't know or care about the Alliance. NLF, Naptown, NAL, Crabfeast, Platinum Cup. No one is going to mention Alliance. #HHH All day Baby!

Where is chandik now ? After all of his NLF talk , NLF is the best blah blah blah , not only did team ten beat 3 NLF teams but the final at the NAL (largest tournament of the summer ) had two non NLF teams in the final (team 10 vs mad dog)
Any comments from chandik, would love to hear them Team 10 oh my look at you, you guys are so good let's all stop and rank your players and team. Oh how did we miss it all. Go learn how to win because you clearly know how to lose. You are a hammerhead of the highest magnitude. 2025 Team 10: Ranked south of 25 with many NLF teams ahead of them with many more commits. 9-12-2 . Impressive. Bang that drum. 2026 Team 10: Ranked #2 with an NLF team ranked above them and below them. 24-2, both losses to NLF teams. Watered down for sure but really just shows how dense you sound and are. 2027 Team 10: Ranked #15, 15-9-1. Wouldn't call that Elite by any means. They've pretty much lost to anyone and everyone but 5 losses are to NLF Teams. Wow this Alliance sounds very strong. 2028 Team 10: Ranked 128, 16-14 record (Team 11, Team 18 and lots of Team 91's ahead of them) They've lost to everyone everywhere but NLF is watered down. This team can't even beat B teams. So if I were Matt Chandick my response would be. Congrats, you won a tournament. You personally are an embarrassment. Team 10 has one good team. Enjoy it and maybe come challenge yourself at the NLF but please stop making noise about nothing. Facts show you have 1 good team, very few commits and no real value in the lacrosse world. It must eat at you that you won't be there this weekend. Can't wait until you get sold and are banging on about how great True10 is. BLAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAH youre an Meanyclown times 10.

This actually isn't true at all. Keep telling yourself that. Deep down you know the connections you have are the reason why
