Rebels Black is new team this year. Kids from last years Rebels Central , East and kids from other clubs including Empire. This is not just for WS, it’s a team , that will compete with all. It’s called Rebel Black. New year, new team, all on age, and practicing 3 times a week. What exactly are they doing wrong. And a bunch of 28’s practicing with them because they know their 29 team will struggle. Team will be better with the new coaches but they still have a ways to go to compete with the better LI teams (91, Express, Igloo and Moose). Let’s see how they do when they play some real AA tourneys and some tough teams like Madlax, Eclipse or Leading Edge. The documentary should be entertaining but highlights reels from practice don’t win games! Bunch of 28’s from where?? Everyone who goes to the World Series will grab 28’s from their own organization who are still age eligible. I’ve heard the tourney season cutoff is 6/1/10 but the Regional qualifiers and WS is 9/1/10 which makes more sense but could also disqualify a bunch of older players (as it should). You skirted around the main issue which is, the 9/1 date, which will eliminate certain players and put those teams on par with many others. You’ve had your son playing competitive lacrosse on LI for the past 4-5 years and only now you’re realizing the WS is an added expense? Wake up and please stop already!

It’s sad that youth lacrosse has come to this and that the arrogant, pathetic parents living vicariously through their child, can’t handle parity. More pathetic is the fact these same teams are using location and cost as an excuse. What happened to competition? Maybe spend more time teaching your kid how to lose with dignity? What a concept that would be. If you’re suspecting i guess you’re not in the know. Or your just lobbing accusations because you don’t care for one of the clubs that have decided to not participate, and i’d suspect it’s the two numbered club. If you have a child playing 2029 on LI you should by this time at least have some friends that have children on most other teams. And if that was the case you actually would know how the choosing to not participate went down with both teams. It went down two completely different ways and there are unhappy parents on both teams. Ask around and you’ll find out. Well you know so why do you beat around the bush. Just tell us why the teams aren’t participating. Because they are afraid of losing with an age verified team. These are the same parents that spend thousands per year to watch their kid never play just to say he's on a top team while they parade around with all their gear and than complain about playing time. News flash, not everyone gets a trophy! So you’re a mom who spent thousands that will never be recouped to watch his kid play. So what mom, why do you care? Always the women who worry about other people’s business. Just a wash woman. Definitely a Rebels Black mom who knows their son would never make another team without Dad coaching. That cult will be your downfall lol.

Igloo and Mooselax in the finals and they both looked good although I give Igloo the slight edge. Rebels looked much improved and will be a much better team than they've been. Other teams were solid throughout and the weather allowed for a good day for everyone to get out and play.

So disparage the tourney this year like Denver wasnt expensive? Exactly If they lose again they risk losing that air, those coveted names Fun to watch the mighty fall Imagine the LI teams banded together and went to the WS to represent NYS and Long Island and to show the rest of the country we are a powerhouse region? Yes, there's a lot of teams on LI, which dilutes the talent somewhat, but at the end of the day, there are 5-6 strong teams who could make a run. Are egos that big for 12 year old lacrosse that "Any Given Sunday" between these top teams is such an issue? Does it, matter if it's 91, Igloo, Express, Moose, Prime Time? They can all beat each other, and likely have.

pay the most. practice the least. and be arguably the 5th best team on LI.

Is Rebels Black kidding with a docuseries. Now that the good teams are bailing out of the WS they think they are going to qualify. Again, why is this team not named Rebels Black/91 Empire? It is not a true team made up of Rebels players. Even has a 91 Empire coach. I guess DS can do whatever he wants. Whole family is a joke just like the Rebels program. Exactly why this tournament is a joke compared to others. Rules aren’t followed at this tournament like all the rest. Combining teams, forming a special team, all the sneaking in older kids, not even reclassified kids flat out older kids! We keep crying about southern states, while we do the same thing!! Just saying This is laughable… the coach was on the Rebels last year toward the end of the year. Then they combined kids from the three rebels teams took from The Best and they had a try out and took from The Best that was available. How is that not a team? As for older kids again silly… The 28s that they could use are on age. All teams did it last year. It’s not against rules. Sounds to me teams like express and 91 and legacy are nervous.
