Any suggestions on best recording device for lacrosse games? What is the intent of the recording? Full field for "game tape" footage or are you looking to iso in on your player for IG reels, etc?

As reported in late May on this forum, we are still deeply dissatisfied with the current state of operations at Episcopal Academy. Recent developments over the last several months have left us angry and we are demanding change. In short, we were played. If you share our same concern, take a moment to read what we have discovered at www.saveepiscopal.com. There is a valuable lesson to be learned by the administration when you tangle with a lacrosse parent!

What is Philly Futures 2029? My son showed me their Instagram where they're releasing their roster. They've got at least 1 holdback listed there according to my son (my son played in an all star game with the boy in May and he told my son he was 13 at the time...maybe my son was mistaken?).

This rising 8th grader at Malvern Prep is really getting a lot of attention from Apex in the past few days. Must be a student. His highlights have him listed on that fated Mesa 27 team that is rumored to be hobbled at this point. For anybody not getting the content from apex, he also played up 2 grade level on the '26 PA All America team this summer. Pretty incredible.

Yep - he didn't play 2 years up. He was an 8th grader last year and he is an 8th grader this year.

I won’t name the grad year, but there was one player who was one month away from being two years graduating class above the class he was in. Don’t tell me it’s not an advantage.

i went to episcopal to see the football game on friday. they dont seem like they need any saving. campus is nicer then my college they seem to be doing just fine LOL. only saving they actually need is that i had to park 10 miles away from the field and all the episcopal football coaches wear these weird tight pants. looks like they r perfectly dressed for a Wayne starbucks run in their yoga pants after dropping the kids off at school. the roman dads were having a feild day LOL
2024 middie zeke Kain is going to be a student this spring for them. he [plays rb on football. downhill right hand he is going to help them in a lot of big games just like freedom summer ball a few years back

Unless we’re talking women’s lax, Episcopal hasn’t been relevant in years. The website might be the best marketing for them, as most forgot they still provides men sports.

Congrats to those kids landing at some amazing schools. Kind of always been the problem with HHH, talented players but the teams don’t win much. Now that the talent is gone from 26 on down guess we’ll see what happens.

Trying to knock the successful program with the most recruits to the biggest schools annually makes you look small. They seem to be winning without you.

No one is knocking the 25s - great job by coach banks and the boys. Only pointing out that the HHH youth teams did not win one game in the spring league (from 31-27) and the other teams got worked at NLF. So the question is, will HHH keep poaching talent that other teams developed, or never have a class like 25 ever again? That’s what this forum is for right?

Kids will leave other programs like Duke’s, Freedom, TeamTen, Mesa and play for HHH, as the allure of NLF is too good to pass up. BM better hope so, as those younger teams are terrible

Congrats to ALL the boys doing well!

I don’t think you HAVE to play for an NLF team to be successful/recruited, not sure anyone is saying that. The league does provide the best opportunity to showcase in front of the top/most college coaches…that’s undeniable. But you are correct - congrats to ALL the local boys (and girls) reppin’ the area!

Congrats to all the 2025’s. It’s a great representation of the quality of lacrosse in the Philadelphia area, regardless of which club team or high school.

BM better hope so, as those younger teams are terrible Do you have any evidence for this statement? It seems like the big winner for 2026 was Team Ten. For 2027 the big winners were Brotherly Love and Team TEN. That is not saying HHH did not pick up some great players, because they definitely did.

No evidence. Only speculation into how BM will manage to keep his team a viable entity given the clear mismanagement and lack of effort in the youth program to fill the pipeline for the high school program.

BM better figure something out quick; I saw he hired a young coach for the 2030s but also heard rumors they were riding themselves of youth teams and focusing on HS…who knows?! NLF is certainly enticing but not the end all be all it used to be. We shall see…

NLF is certainly enticing but not the end all be all it used to be. We shall see… This sounds about right. Building a youth program and actually developing players is hard work. This guy ain't about hard work. Much easier to just ride the coat tails of the real NLF teams in Maryland and New York. This guy would much rather go skiing in the mountains of South America with the tuition checks from those 2033-2028 teams.
