Coppermine rosters are out and looks like they definitely trimmed their roster down. No surprise additions aside from the girl from California. Hope that everyone found a new home they are happy with. Should be a team that never loses this season. How will they handle playing time though with just 1 ball. No chance they lose a game. Even with soccer depleting the roster in the fall they have plenty waiting in the wings. Maybe a few closer than expected but no loses, and in the spring when they are full strength the margin of victory will be 10+ goals per game. Thank you Coppermine Dad. Glad to know you're excited, but 10+ goals per game is not realistic as all teams at this age improve throughout the country. This team is no better than top teams at any older years were/are (2027, 2026, 2025, 2024) and those teams do not win all their games by 10+ goals.

Agree, but there will be a lot of non starters barely or not playing at all in the spring. No team will have the talent level to keep up.

This post doesn’t sounds like sarcasm. More likely a troll parent setting up unrealistic expectations so the Coppermine 28 team “fails” if they lose a game. If they have a similar season to last year it is another successful season.
Which team will be closest after Coppermine my vote is Hero’s with M&D on their heels. Can they take the second and third spot from Eagle Stix?

M&D having 2 A teams with this new M&D West team should add more competition to the A bracket.

Hoco/ M&D west is same team in different uniforms. M&D got the money is all. Hoco wanted to keep their group together. The real M&D teams couldn’t take a HoCo 28 and Hoco got to do invites for tryouts. The only benefit to M&D picking up these B teams is money and getting more teams in Robinsonsport tournaments.

I thought M&D Red was in the A Division now because they won the NGLL B Division last year. Is M&D West also an A team? M&D West will not be in A Division. They were HoCo Pink previously. For various reasons, they wanted to leave HoCo as a team, so they moved over to M&D. I do think M&D Red is supposed to move to A Division having won the B Division.

Pride should probably think about moving down to NGLL B. The dream is dead.

They also added 3 non-starters (1 each from SW, Heros, and MDU) and a reclass from BLC 2027, not sure it pushes them past ES. I think Heros will give Coppermine the best game. At the very least, M&D should be expected to score more goals than Pride in their next matchup. This remains to be seen. Pride parents have jokes these days. Jokes, or a trend line? Last 3 games: --10/22/22 -- M&D 12 - Pride 7 --4/16/23 -- M&D 10 - Pride 7 --7/16/23 -- M&D 8 - Pride 8 Pride's best player from last year is now on M&D. I'm sure Pride parents can keep hope alive though. Pride's best player would be a solid pickup for M&D, and the new player would likely be amongst M&D's best players. Pride should probably think about moving down to NGLL B. The dream is dead. Good player. Good pickup for M&D. That said, rest assured that Pride will come to compete again this year. 6-2 in NGLL last year; missed playoffs by Goal Diff. Played Hero's, M&D (tie), and Crush tough last summer, not to mention Aces (tie). Beat Sky Walkers twice. Will build on that and come to play. Seems like you would want some competition in the Mid-Atlantic... Who else, other than the big five Baltimore area teams, is likely to be better? And no, not asking for NEMS guy to chime in.

Predictions for National Fall Lax Fest? Another Coppermine W? How are the MD teams coming together in practice with new players? Hero's confident? How is MD United looking after losing some key players? Is schedule out? Would be hard to predict without knowing the schedule.

Did M&D add some good players over the summer to give them an edge over ES? Only one I know of is a top lefty attacker from PRIDE. They also added 3 non-starters (1 each from SW, Heros, and MDU) and a reclass from BLC 2027, not sure it pushes them past ES. I think Heros will give Coppermine the best game. How can you be sure these new players won't get a starting spot. They were non-starters at their previous clubs..they could start for M&D. Hero’s pickups were a lot more significant. This is based on what/who? Your opinion? Let the games play out before claiming Hero's picked up the 2nd coming of Charlotte North. So, Heros picked up starters from other top clubs? I don't remember seeing that. This post doesn’t sounds like sarcasm. More likely a troll parent setting up unrealistic expectations so the Coppermine 28 team “fails” if they lose a game.
