Ya not too bad for a group that started w only 2028 in middle of last year. Program is run well and coach does a great job. So yes, they have enough for a team and could have had 2 at this age group.

Any truth to an Express top kid moving to Rebels? Rumor, he left to go play up w his brother. Lost a couple to Venom and 2 Way i have heard. Express will reload as always and I think there 50 man roster for 2 teams may work out. Make kids compete each day and earn their spot.

You are saying they don’t have a second team? They had a 2028 Black and Red last year. Now there’s only a Black team? Sounds like they are going backwards.

The kids on the sideline of these teams are wasting a year of playing. Find a team where you're on the field playing a boatload of minutes

That’s a good thing in my view you don’t need a second team just for money. Clubs need to focus on each team in each age group.

Doubtful express has 50 man roster. The bigger problem will be if they can’t field two teams, the better players are going to have to play with the kids that are considered B players. That’s going to cause issues for some of the players that think they are A players. Imo

Believe it or not, at one point in 2nd grade, igloo had some of 2the best talent on the island. Then it all fell apart, seems like a recurring theme with their younger teams.

Regarding the Express rumor….”top kid going to Rebels to play with brother” is 100% false…yes a kid left for Rebels but he never saw the field on Chucks which is why he left-good move. Regarding top players going to Venom-1 good defender but Chucks replaced with an even better pole so no loss….the two attackers that went to venom were averaging 0-1 goals PER TOURNAMENT so no loss there either. Chucks picked up 2 Venom players and a few Lumberjacks so it will be interesting to see a Chucks/Venom match up this fall after all the dust settles.

Chucks picked up 2 PIA/obnoxious parents so will see if that changes the dynamic of the team at all!

In this day and age nobody cares about team dynamic. Players come in for all over and are suddenly starters in today's club scene. At least for top teams. B teams and lower tier A teams, have much better environments imho.

Legacy directors please stop mentioning NAL. If you invited best teams, at all ages, some of yours would be out.

Venom picked up 3 TOP players from the chucks. You can’t deny that or you are proving yourself to be foolish.
Chucks got a great pole from rebels but venom got a better pole from rebels.
Venom didn’t lose any TOP players.
Chucks didn’t get any TOP players from lumberjax.
Venom seems loaded. Chucks took a hit, even losing a real good Faceoff kid. Time will tell!

Your sidelines must be so fun - filled with paranoid parents critiquing and criticizing everyone else’s kids. Are Express really running 50 out there for 2 teams? Will lineups be set or fluid? Do people know which team they are on, or is that how they get 50 - by dangling the elusive spot on Chucks each week. “Getting on the field won’t happen but Joey can be proud to watch the boys who do play and jump on them at the end.”
