As the season is coming to an end here are the current, top 10, Maryland Rankings. Hawks and Next Level definitely belong at the top. True Chesapeake, FCA, and LTLC are top 3,4, and 5 and can easily be interchanged in my opinion if they go head to head. Who knows what the outcome will be. The bottom 5 out 10 are exactly that. Interesting to see how age verification will impact this list next year. I am sure every top team will be losing some players. (numbers represent where they rank nationally)
3 Annapolis Hawks Green (2029) 9 Next Level 2029
11 FCA MD 2029 42 True Chesapeake (2029) 45 LTLC Legends 2029
81 Saltwater South (2029) 112 Bethesda LC 2029 Blue 117 True Baltimore Black (2029) 119 Kelly Post Grey (2029) 121 Predators MD (2029) Hawks definitely #1 Next Level #2 3-5....let's remember that LTLC does not exist anymore. Crabs 2029 is now in play. They already had 4-5 guest players playing with them this summer and hearing that there is a lot of turnover within LTLC coming with that transition. If age verification goes through both True and FCA would lose one big piece of there offense from last season from what I have been told. 6-10....what the heck has happened to Predators and True Baltimore Black? After having success and winning the 2029 AAA division of HOCO, Preds has had a tough summer. Just lost to Team Money 2029 this past weekend who didn't win one game in AAA this spring. Year after year it amazes me the difference in talent, skill level, and coaching between the Elite Teams and the AAA division. Very interested to see if Team 91 MD gets bumped to AAA or if they hold. Hearing that VLC's best player may be leaving and could have others following as well. Hawks could be number one just need to cut the st Mary’s ball hog kids. Team be better off. Win as team lose when we play ball hog. Never going to happen…Hogan cowers to St Mary’s parents.

True Baltimore is to one team with a total of 23 kids show up to try outs. The other coach and kids went to Preds. Kp’s top team folded leaving their lower team to struggle.

Heard true did a complete overhaul. Tons of kids from other programs Kids from which teams? Or do you just like spreading vague rumors? Word is the best few players from VLC and some hawks Lots of "rumors" swirling around this time of year and will be interesting to see how the dust settles. 1. Heard VLC's top 5 players are all leaving and have made the True Chesapeake Team. Unfortunately that is probably the death of VLC 2029 being elite and should really elevate True Chesapeake to a top 3 team if 100% true. 2. Predators is having two teams as several of the True Baltimore players are relocating due to coaching changes. 3. Crabs 2029 had a dose of reality this weekend at the NLF Championship. High and lows on that team and there will certainly be new faces arriving and old faces looking to leave. 4. A lot of Team 91 players trying out all over the place. Not sure if they are talented enough to help FCA or LTLC/Crabs. Will be interesting to see where Team 91 lands with it's roster and what division they participate in. 5. Heard hawks is losing a few guys as well, but most importantly losing their goalie. Should be interesting to see who the pluck away to fill that position. Look forward to seeing how the dust settles!

There true Baltimore situation is a mess. Not sure moving to Preds will help the. At all. Crabs struggled at NLF very up and down but finally seeing some talented teams. Madlax is struggling at NLF. Waiting to hear the ML excuses coming. Where is the hawks goalie going. Summer tournaments are hit or miss witha mish mosh of kids on teams. Hard to get. A good read of the true team.

I heard the true Baltimore teams have been cut in half. Enough players came to try outs to field one team. Of those players 20 or so are returning players. Heard it from a parent from the team. Why would hawks and Vic players go to true Baltimore to play when there are better teams closer to them. Remember true Baltimore and true Chesapeake are two completely different teams.

Saw ML play this weekend at NLF. They have either lost a step or everyone else is getting better. ML is not as dominant as it was. I would put hawks in front of them. But agree the top 5. (except Mad Lax is not considered a Maryland team considered to be Virginia.
For this past season - Next year is unknown because of the changes.
1. Hawks 2 Next Level 3/4//5. LTLC/Crabs/FCA/True Chesapeake (Based on week to week).
Nothing else seems to come close.
How are tryouts going. Anyone give any number updates? Looking for what high interest is in Maryland teams. Not looking for drama or controversy.
FCA has it's tryouts this week.

IIRC the head coach of True Baltimore is that same guy who accidentally? blew up the 2029 Crabs team. If he's leaving True, that's good for True. If he is headed to Preds, that's the most Preds thing to happen this month. Advice on Preds - the upper management is hands off, borderline non existent. So if your son has a connection with a coach (and the 2029 Preds players seem to LOVE their coaches), your son will have a great year. But if things aren't going well, nobody is coming to fix the situation.

Kids from Virginia are joining a team based in Annapolis? Are they not required to attend practices? You know how true does it! Sell your soul to compete. Culture isn’t important. Let them play even if they aren’t able to make it to practice. Seems to have really worked with their 2028 team.

ML is still good however they don't seem as dominant as they have been. Watched some parts games and they seemed to struggle moving the ball faster than normal in transistion and on offense. Slow transition on defensive fast breaks. Again they are still a good team. They gaps in elite teams is getting smaller it seems.

FCA has it's tryouts this week. For ML, what is there area of need? LSM, Goalie and FOGO They actually have two very good faceoff kids but they both play the field as significant contributors to the offense. At this age specialization starts to happen. Looks like they don’t have enough coaches if you ask me. I saw a teenager helping them at Naptown. And he was the second of two present at that time.

Resolute had 2 teams at the 2029 level. One was an all star team and the other was a 29/30 team that was just put together. The team g0t blow out. Felt bad for the team.

The Resolute team must have gotten lost on their way to the 2027 fields. They had a full head on every other team there. The WCS team was pulling kids off of other WCS teams (older) all during the tournament. I guess one last year before you're required to prove your age was worth it for some programs...
