anyone except an offer on express 50 man roster After a successful season for Express to do this shows what is important to them. Buyer Beware. Shame on you for going to Express where only the top 12 play. Have fun on the bench

Playing time vs coaching. Son sees minimal minutes on a TOP team, but the benefit is great coaching/competition. At what point do you say, “is this worth it?” How do we know when it’s time for a change? Need a little guidance. TY

You people are pathetic. They made it to the semifinals. They are one of the best on age teams in the country. The funny part is that both of you I quoted most likely have children not good enough to play for them. So you come on here and throw punches while hiding behind a computer. Sad
How did they do last weekend? They shut down their season after the World Series. The kids know why, the parents don't seem too or don't want to admit it. They are a great team. Decision was made not to play- right or wrong good or bad. They would have been fine at NLF and would have had good a shot at any to win. See everyone who thinks venom stinks at tryouts tomorrow. Personality conflicts

So besides Venom, which teams got stronger and which teams got weaker? Venom got stronger. Lost no one, took top players Express same or worse. Lost top players, took players from within org. and legacy players that weren’t getting field time Legacy same. Lost no top players, took no top players Haven’t heard any top pick ups for the other clubs but definitely some movement just have to see how it works out for them all

Someone from the rebels made venom? I’m trying to think of who, but I’m drawing a blank.
35 on a roster is insane, I’m guessing some are hoping for more playing time “next year” and new players are believing what they have been told, every time I’ve watched them I don’t think more than 15 see the field

Please tell me for the sake of the parents sanity that’s 45 is for their a and b team? If that’s for the Chucks…. I hope the organization was transparent with all the parents with the roster size before they paid/committed
Cudos to Express, make that money!

I’m happy that some of these parents want their kid to stand on the sideline of a top team, while I get to watch my son on the field. Hopefully they don’t realize how they’re not helping their kid

Hows East Coast Elite Organization ? They put a decent product on the field. Good coaching. The only reason I wouldn’t choose them is they just play on LI to limit travel costs, which works well for a lot of people. I just prefer to travel for a few reason (a) team trips are part of the experience and the kids love them and (b) playing the same teams each week gets old fast.

Long Island has more clubs that any other area. The talent is spread all over. 91 and Express definitely have the deepest rosters. Find a spot that works for your family. Express and 91 also travel more than others however, Igloo, Legacy, Rush and Rebels also have a handful of away tournaments each year. Playing time is the most important factor followed by coaching, cost and overall club culture. If your kid is playing most of the time and has improved each year then you most likely should stay put. The level of competition must also be a consideration. There are 5 or 6 teams that play at the highest level for the most part. It is about the experience for your child and family. There is no perfect scenario only what works for your kid. If he has a smile on his face and is improving then you are in a good spot. Best of luck finding the right club. Bottom line is they are all Big Time Businesses!

Bottom line is they are all Big Time Businesses! The smile is super important!! Also worth noting before high school there is limited benefit to traveling. If your son is interested in playing college lacrosse it will become more important to travel to where the coaches are. I am not from LI but I really like the East Coast Elite model. My 2026 son team played them this summer. They had some really good players including 2 solid goalies.
