Nice. But you know what they didn’t win? Their game against the #HitSquad They sure didn't. We're glad the NL boys had 1 nice post season win this year. A loss to BLC not nearly as bad as the Hawks losing to the hit squad. BLC beat NL yesterday… pretty sure BLC has won 1, maybe 2 games in HoCo the last 2 years combined. Clearly, BLC is a team on the rise, NL on a decline. And hearing Madlax might pick up some key NL players The suggestion that a NL player would go within 100 miles of Madlax, especially now, is comedy gold. let's see how that prediction ages.

They will just get out of state kids, which is part of their model anyway, who want a national social media platform and don’t know or don’t care about all the downsides of the program. I’m sure they will backfill and build a good team. But thank goodness my son won’t be on it.

If a random kid from Alabama or Oregon wants to play on an east coast team during the summer due to lack of opportunities in those other states, good for him. Tough model to perpetuate, will likely lead to most DMV players bolting for greener pastures locally (see: NL and BLC/DCE).

So is this Clippers team serious or are they just in it for Instagram pictures? They have already performed better on the gram than all you club directors and have not played 1 game. True is good at this game too. Kyle Harrison is all about the social media game. He does the same thing with Team Eighteen. They have a huge social media presence. Great opportunity if your son's goal is to get recruited by Instagram University. Team Eighteen has churned through a bunch of local elite, AAA, AA players over the past 3 years. It's primarily a sports marketing testing ground for KH. Hilarious because its spot on. Your kid wont learn a thing, but he'll be on the gram!!

Nice. But you know what they didn’t win? Their game against the #HitSquad Sheeesh… leave it to a few overzealous NL parents. The Hit Squad was like 2-4, lost to some [Censored] teams, and clearly the Hawks didn’t take them seriously for that hour in June. They’d beat them by 10 today if they played again. Get over yourselves, it was a total fluke. And I’m not even a Hawks parents… You sound like a bitter MadLax parent whose team practiced a ton and got beat by Hawks by 10. Maybe tryout for the Squad next year. When are the HitSquad tryouts???

I know most those kids, as players, not personally. All are very good players and would presumably have lots of options. Seems odd they would go to MadLax especially knowing the lovefest between ML and NL and general Cabell behavior.

Wow DC Area lax is suddenly a disaster at 2028. ... as opposed to every other class year. I'm sure they're all going on perfectly, with zero drama, no secret tryouts, and, of course, no backstabbing or chest-pounding by over-invested parents.

Crabs beat a few low level Elite teams and get rolled by Hawks. New players must be a down grade[/quote]
Crabs parent here we had a few guest this weekend. All the kids played hard and had fun. Hawks are just on a different level. They have studs at every position.

What is the deal with hitsquad? Seems like they could be a team to consider. Are they full time? If NL and BLC aren’t competitive, how are the two combined so talented? Any team that can beat the Hawks should be taken Seriously.

Don't see a second tie. I'm not eager to see a fall ball discussion ever again let alone two months early, but I would probably take the more recent summer result more seriously if the entire thing wasn't moot because BLC won't exist going forward.

Have a good friend on the team, it was basically a pickup team. They roll into the first game of Naptown with 0 practices, play Red Hots in the 2nd game and lose by 2, beat the hawks and generally played well and had a good time according to the friend. Remind me again how your son's team did against Red Hots and the Hawks, now divide that by the number of practices and you're left with you being bitter.

NLF starts today, lots of chatter going on, and many good teams not competing. Not competing or blocked??? Meaning they didn't allow certain teams to register.... MadLax and NLF a sinking ship. Openly and blatantly blocking competitors like NL, BLC, FCA from registering and competing in NLF Championship. Event used to be open invite and the premier event. Uncontrolled club directors like MadLax, Express in LI, Leading Edge in NJ, Laxachusetts in NE all blocking their competitors. As a result NL, BLC, 3D NE, BBL all competing in Pinnacle. Shame on MadLax.

Hearing huge turnout for FCA yesterday and Crabs having two teams. What's up with that. Don't know anything about Crabs but my son went to FCA. Easily over 100 players, maybe 110+, but it was hard to count and was hard to tell any new players could make the team. I was impressed that the coaches could wrangle that many kids on a single field. Someone said 12 goalies and I saw an entire half field full of poles, like 40+. Final tryout on Thursday. I know lots of players went back and forth in the past, but didn't really see many (maybe 1?) Hawks helmets at FCA. Not sure if they go the other way too or where Hawks pulls new kids from. There were maybe 2 Crabs, 10 Blue claws and a bunch of helmets I didn't recognize. Hawks are tonight and Wed I think.

I guess he wants to know the secret to beating the Hawks, which obviously his own teams haven't yet figured out.

Guessing math isn't you strong suite. 350/11= 31 on average trying out for a 20-21 man roster. The 2027's had 72 boys out on Sunday, so my guess is that 350 estimate is very conservative. Which club do you run or coach for, ProStart, True, MDLL or Helmsman? The only reason someone comes on here to talk [Censored] about a club is they have a financial incentive (they own/run a club)or their kid got cut and they are bitter about it.

Huge opportunity for all the clubs outside of NLF to shun them back with a great event on proper fields.

He’s trying to revitalize the DC Dogs name, which wasn’t even his team to begin with. He had to buy them. And let Rienzo run it start to finish. Probably why they were good.

What is the deal with hitsquad? Seems like they could be a team to consider. Are they full time? If NL and BLC aren’t competitive, how are the two combined so talented? Any team that can beat the Hawks should be taken Seriously. They went 2-4 in their 1 tournament. Gotncrished by 91 GA and Project Midwest. Leave it at that. I hear they want to go to Club Nationals in the winter. Maybe they will get their shot at MadLax—or what’s left of that team. actually the MadLax owner has been texting the kids (not parents, the kids directly) on the Hit Squad trying to recruit them to Madlax. I guess he wants to know the secret to beating the Hawks, which obviously his own teams haven't yet figured out. Yep, this is true. The clown is on full tilt trying to fill the gaping hole in his roster. Texting and DM’ing kids behind their parents’ backs. Ironically, the kids are laughing at him. Dude has zero class, and everyone knows it.

So is this Clippers team serious or are they just in it for Instagram pictures? They have already performed better on the gram than all you club directors and have not played 1 game. True is good at this game too. Well they bragged that they got 350 kids trying out for 11 or 12 teams, enough to only cut about 5 kids per team, so I guess file it under "you gotta start somewhere." Guessing math isn't you strong suite. There's 2 2027 teams so if 72/2=36 yeah that tracks. And the the typical roster size at that age group, come tourney time, won't be "21." Not for any claimed "top 5 team." Clippers bragged on IG that attendance was 350 and if you think any business's IG brags are "conservative" then math isn't your strong suit. And as far as guessing motivations.....you must be new here.

And as someone who was there— flat out worst facilities for a tournament that I have seen. Ever. Last 3 years. Huge opportunity for all the clubs outside of NLF to shun them back with a great event on proper fields. I was there too, and I thought the fields were fine, but the competition was the issue. Of the five DC area teams, the two elite teams (DCE and Next Level) were missing, and the second tier teams (VLC, MadLax, and Hawks) were there battling it out. if you want to have an elite event you need to invite the best teams.
