Way to weighted toward jesters all around. Tradition as a town team doesn’t have depth as you think. YJA by a decent stretch on defense. Look at America select black roster. All those girls are varsity starters at bigger programs.

Hmmm. I’d actually argue that legacy defense is as good if not better than the ones mentioned except jesters who is clearly the best with their disciplined zone. Folks will laugh at that since this board loves YJ.

The fact was American select teams is a criteria shows that that folks either don’t watch YJ or just drink the koolaid. they have some big strong girls but they really don’t move well and get exposed by good teams who know how to isolate them. Can’t count number of times they have been bailed out by their goalie

Honestly if YJ has a roster which better geared for some. Surprised they don’t play it more

The one thing exception is the shorter blonde girl who I would admit is one of the best defender at this age group

Athletically no one can compete with YJ.

Have you seen FLG play? I'd agree that YJ is a better team, but FLG's athleticism especially at midfield and attack is clearly top on the island.

Don’t forget the coaching.

The 27 age group in general has some good coaches.

Top on the island? I don't know about that. I've watched both teams play, against each other and against other teams. YJ is bigger, stronger and faster than FLG at every position except maybe attack. YJ has more athletes top to bottom than any team I've seen. Agree on the coaching.

Agreed. Ironically, the best team probably has the worst coach of all the "big" teams

Agreed. YJA is the deepest and most athletic overall team. I would say that they’re even with FLG at attack and with the middies with a slight edge at defense and goalie. Definitely deeper and better bench.

I guess the other teams should just drop out because it’s obviously not worth their time playing without YJA and Jesters 🙄

FLG probably wins, but they won't have a couple of their top players due to high school. Not even really sure why to have a 27 division at this event, other than the obvious ($$$)

What programs are liking their 2027 experience ? We are not trusting the jesters merger. The pro of where we are is distance but willing to drive to avoid the merger. Would love honest advice on the matter

you've come to the very wrong place for honest answers....talk to parents that you know who have kids at other clubs and you'll get the honest answer you are looking for. There is no perfect club....they ALL have their pros/cons.

That’s a disgusting comment. Not every player, parent or team is striving to be a top D1 recruit or play in the PLL. There are players out there who have a serious passion for the game and have the most amazing travel experiences with a B or C team. Comment is unnecessary and I guarantee that team couldn’t care less that a NOBODY thinks they’re a joke.

Agree! And, that NOBODIES kid is probably going to ride the bench all 4 years in college because they HAD to have the kid play D1! That’s a joke!

It sounds like LaxOn is losing a lot of players at this grade. That's too bad, the more teams the better I think. Are they going to be able to field a team?

Are they leaving midyear? Where are they going? They have 3 or 4 really good players who would have many choices if they want to leave.

The two YJA girls on Farmingdale have to be the best at their positions. Watched at the county semis.
