St. Mary’s line is foul and honestly disrespectful to the team man. At least -10.5 for the saints. I don’t think LB has one player better than any starter on STM they are a joke and a fake Baltimore school. And what do you mean by first curb stomp? The saints frommers have had 6 curb stomps because they are ten times better than any other team they’ll ever play.

Your post really didn't age well, lmao. Loyola handles St. Mary's 11-8. Next...

MSJ won second half 5-2 with LB starters in. LB faceoff got wrecked in the 2nd half and the defense & goalie struggled as MSJ got it turned around after a slow start. LB will struggle in pivotal games if this inconsistent play keeps up.[/quote]

Loyola has guys I would want with me in a fight. Toughest team in the miaa and the win of STM shows it dominance on defense, capitalizing on offense, winning face offs, and a heck of a goalie watch out

LB fans glossing over the second half against MSJ are whistling past the graveyard. If you watched, you saw Loyola didn’t “possess” the ball in the second half. Their starters got out hustled and out played by MSJ. Badly.

You were saying coach?

You knucklehead. What the poster said is still true no matter what the score of todays game was. Da!!!

StM is a below average Team that got exposed today. I know your hopes were high on the CH game, but time for the Quarter Zips to come back to reality. Average at best team.

I bet that was a long bus ride home for you Friday night? 0-2 in the MIAA and another losing season for MSJ but at least you can hang your hat on 1/2 a game in a loss.

Had the pleasure of driving up to Baltimore to watch Severn MSJ. I guess it is a case of playing down to the competition, but Severn looked bad. MSJ just as bad, defense and goalie is nonexistent. Severn needs to step it up if they want to play with the big boys.

Tough, good game the other night. St Mary’s with a hangover after their CH win. And Loyola finally played well against what many believe is a good opponent.

Last week we got the STM contingent pounding their chests. Gonna be the LB quarter zips who are insufferable.

Meanwhile both teams missed that BL and McD had a real heavyweight fight in the back ground.

After watching the severn game, it looked like they were missing a lefty sniper. With that being said, stack has informed me that he will be considering Severn for the 2023 season. He believes that the team has lots of potential, and that being so close to the bay gives him a great opportunity to "get dialed with his boys" on the weekend.

LB showed me better team D and toughness than in the past 3 years. Their goalie outplayed the SM keeper. Loyola had more energy and defended their home field well. SM looked like they were missing Acton's CTOs and Hopkins' quickness on O. Saints overlooked a much improved and balanced LB team. The Dons are for real folks!!!

The two boarding schools are doing great. But neither is a Heavyweight. Above Average teams, LB might be the best this year

I think the person that wrote this said "If inconsistent play continues". Clearly it did not. Congrats to LB. Have to read the posts-not just come on chest pumping.

Why is Gilman so irrelevant in the lacrosse community? They have a handful of good Team 91 players who seem to underperform at Gilman? Is it the coaching ? I’d detest to see
what’s happening at Gilman.

Saints beat themselves yesterday. Hopefully wake up call need to bring it every game. They play again win by 8-10 easy just look at the stats in every category.
Saints dominated.

Loved the student body rushing the field lol

The Nostrant era set them back but the team is scrappy and will be middle of the pack, maybe higher with a few upsets this year if teams take the hounds lightly. Administration is not supportive of a top end team but with a strong 2026 class, they should be a playoff team in the 25 or 26 season and make a good run. Gilman is a top school academically, stingy with athletic financial aid and no boarding (dorm or family) that hurts them so a championship coming back to Roland ave is unlikely in the near term but they are definitely relevant.

This original poster is an LB basher and has posted similar things previously. Same rhetoric but everyone knows who he is and why he posts what he does. Move along…….

Lol - they sure didn't dominate in the only stat that really matters: goals. They didn't dominate time of possession and Loyola's D outplayed the Saints D in a big way.

Oh, and the students rush Hargaden Field after pretty much every win. The Saints players were jawing back and forth with the Loyola student section the whole game - maybe they should've focused more on their play. It sure was fun hearing all the chirping from the Saints' fans right up until there was only silence from them...

Besides crossing the field, isn’t there only one way to exit that field from the stands - to go into and through a building?

A very young team that will be extremely competitive over the next 4 years. They gave SP everything they could handle yesterday and just came up short.

Fat chance Gilman will ever be relevant! Why would anyone go there? Bad Coaches who don’t or can’t help get players into top programs. Who wants to play on a losing team year in and year out.

You were saying coach?

These MSJ dads are out here talking to other grown men like they're giving a pep talk to U6 rec kids after getting stomped 14-0 and the goalie crying on the sideline.

12-2 at halftime and never got within 4 points. Yet....

"MSJ out hustled them!"
"MSJ almost mounted a come back!"
"We won the 2nd half!"
"You outplayed their starters badly!"
"That other team won't win a meaningful game the rest of the season!" (that lasted 4 days, love the hot take).

If the Loyola dads made excuses like that when we take our annual throttling(s) from BL and MillonDonogh, it would be just as ridiculous. There's "always a chance," yes, but a lot of times the better team just wins. In what world was MSJ seriously going to beat the Dons this year?

Coaching/culture/leadership/recruiting.

Which one is most responsible for the current issues? No idea.
