Reality on 2030 boys for Long Island is:
#1 - 91 is the best team
#2 - Igloo Black Ice is a close 2nd
#3 - Legacy maybe
Everyone else is fighting for the back of the pack.
S2S, Rebels, Express, Jesters have lost to all these teams above several times.

91 will be on top bc kids will stay on the team and be happy winning and barely playing instead of going somewhere else to play more useful minutes

I think it is fun for an 11 year old to sit on the sidelines every game!!

When you leave igloo that won’t happen.

Why parents pay to have their kids sit on the sideline is mind blowing even if you're on a AA team - If you sit on the sidelines you aren't getting any additional recognition by scouts.

College scouts haven been lining up at my kids games since 2nd grade .

Talking about scouts in 5th grade lacrosse is also pretty mind blowing.

Can’t kids learn the game, work hard and have fun anymore without the pressure and stress brought on by parents whose self-worth is determined by their kid’s success in youth sports? This culture is disturbing. I have kids going being recruited and trust me, no one gives a s**t about 5th graders. Lol.

91 clearly best 2030 but could lose on any given day to Igloo and Legacy. I think 91 might also lose their top player because of this Age Verification also.

Doubt it. The weather/wind pattern is supposed to change and not blow down from Canada by Saturday.

Time for the Long Island teams to show up and represent. The NAL 2023 Summer Youth Invitational is this weekend in Delaware. Looks like Express, S2S, Legacy and Igloo are playing. They will have some good competition in True, Sweetlax, Madlax, Crabs, BBL, Cherries and Hawks. This weekend will say a lot about where Long Island stands for the 2030s supremacy.

Duke’s Elite from Philly has beaten a number of those teams you mentioned. Good to see teams step off the Island, gonna be fun

Long Island did not represent that well on Saturday except for igloo:
Igloo 3-0-0
Legacy 1-1-1
S2S stingers 0-1-2

Igloo won an easy pool and lost to BBL in playoffs; wasn’t one of the top 4 teams
Legacy battled but lost True IL then Duke’s Elite.
S2S was just brutal.
Great event though, NAL had battles across all age brackets

Little Bethesda Lacrosse Club (all the kids are from within a mile or two of one another) is the beheamoth in 2030. No national players, no kids flying in, just a town rec club that has stuck together and is the best team in the country at the moment.

Igloo Black Ice did well: 4-1
Wins: True IL 9-2, Annapolis Hawks 8-4, BBL Shore 13-5, Cherries 6-5
Losses: BBL Black by 7-5 (Igloo beat that team in April)

Legacy Admirals: 1-3-1
Win: Crabs 8-4
Losses: True IL 6-5, Dukes Elite 6-4, Madlax Capital 6-5
Tied: PrimeTime 10-10

Shore-2-Shore Stingers: 1-2-2
Wins: SweetLax 12-5
Loses: Crabs 9-8, Annapolis Hawks 6-1
Tied: True IL 7-7, PrimeTime 6-6

Congrats to Bethesda LC 2030!!!!!!

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Igloo had a very tough bracket. The other Long Island teams against common opponents tells the story:

Igloo beat the Annapolis Hawks 8-4, S2S lost to Hawks 6-1
Igloo beat True IL 9-2. True IL won their bracket by beating Legacy 6-5 and equalling Shore-2-Shore 7-7.

I was there. You can only play the schedule you were given. If igloo is overrated (not), who is underrated that apparently lost at the NAL that i assume your son is on. The facts are igloo has only lost to 2 teams this year, 91 Cyclones (by 1 goal) and BBL Black (beat them once and lost once)

Top four 2030 teams (pick your order) have to be Bethesda, Team 91, 2Way, and Orange Crush. Only one of them was at NAL. BBL Black looks close - their FOGO is amazing. Logjam after that with Igloo, Duke's elite, Crabs, etc.
