Yes let’s praise him for winning with a bunch of holdbacks. That takes real skill and nuance 😂😂😂

The holdback thing is irrelevant. Especially at this age level. Look at the college players. They are getting older and older.

Who said anything about holdback excuses? I’m just saying what I see at the high school level.

Sweet. Next thing you know they will be able to read. If they work hard enough math might click. I'm not complaining about hold backs. We all know they were held back because they were mentally slow. Congrats on giving the learning disabled a leg up in life. [Censored]'s gotta eat to.

Looks like King Crab is at it again. Poaching kids from other teams. I hope those kids and parents don’t think the atmosphere is better than where they are coming from.

The King is the King for a reason. Been on top for years and still going strong. Sorry your son didnt get poached to play on the Crabs. The King only takes the players that win Championships.

From what team did they poach kids? I thought they were pretty stacked after the summer tryouts when they added 3 top attack men. What positions did they add to?

Tell us what position your kid plays without telling us what position your kid plays.
Out of state kids for summer.

3rd line attackmen, soon to be 4th line attackmen. The Way of the Krab.

King is only good at finding holdbacks, making holdbacks and flying kids in. That’s it. If you ever seen that clown coaching would never play for him.

Heard reaching out to and having his players reach out to midfielders on other local top teams.

I mean, I don't like this for all kinds of reasons, but this is not an uncommon thing. Unfortunately. The best spots on elite teams are not awarded at tryouts.

I heard that the Madlax and NextLevel 2026 teams are merging into one. Anybody know if that is true? I thought those two programs didn't like each other.

This doesn’t even make any sense.

This explains the NL email that went out this week. Sounds like lots of ship jumping coming.

NL is on a major push to build their A team (this year they created a 2026 B team). Will be interesting to see who shows up a Sunday's tryout.

This is a done deal. There is no tryout.

Yep. Every single top club is more than happy to cash your check, then replace you at a moment's notice. The tryout is cover for the Mitchells so they can claim everything was fair.

There's a subset of parents from BLC/DC Express and Madlax who will never be happy with any coach because they think their kids should never leave the field. Now they'll be Next Level's problem.

NL is willing to bench 12 kids mid season just to get their team to a higher ranking. Nice.

Good way to tell everyone who you are without saying it. Amazing how you are still so bitter about other people’s decisions. Why not just focus on your own kid and his development? You should consider therapy.

Sorry holdback Dad, most kids graduate at 21. Ridiculous he’s still allowed to play and take accolades away from kids of the correct age. He could be 9-10 years older than the TRUE freshman he plays against.

AAA lax parents from 3rd - 8th grade: complaining about this scenario happening over and over, eventually getting used to it.
Elite parents: Oh we don't have problems like that in elite level lacrosse.

Elite (non-holdback) parents in 9th grade: tHiS hAs NeVeR haPpenEd iN LaX hiStoRy, So UnFaiR!

You would think at some point the player himself would be a little embarrassed.
