Outside of the '25 team, how do the other 91 teams stack up? And why are they called Team 91? Brian Spallina founded team 91 in LI. His number was 91. 91MD is a franchise led by M Millon. Teams after 25 not very strong b/c MM doesn’t ‘t have a dog in the fight. Expect to see him fade from 91 after 2025. It was a launchpad for his kids. For sure it has been all about the wonder boys first and all the rest can get the scarps. MM has made a decent amount off of club, wouldn't expect to see him fade, just not care as much and more manage club while he chases watching college ball.

At the middle school level, their 8th grade team is always very good. The teams get incrementally worse as they get younger.

At the middle school level, their 8th grade team is always very good. The teams get incrementally worse as they get younger. Could it be that they actually get better as they progress? Depends on how you count "better." As a squad, yes: The faithful kids from the youth team are gradually sloughed off, placed on the "practice team" and endure things like attending tournaments where they don't even play a minute, or being replaced by "guest players" a month before HoCo starts (or even after HoCo starts). They leave frustrated (because "91 doesn't cut"), and 91 seems to replace them with better talent. So by attrition and addition, yes the "team" gets better, no question. Do the players selected by 91 in 4th, 5th, 6th grades progress? From any metric, no. Many quit lacrosse entirely and many more drift back to A/B level rec club teams so they can be the stars that T91 promised them they would be.

At the middle school level, their 8th grade team is always very good. The teams get incrementally worse as they get younger. Could it be that they actually get better as they progress? They do get better as they progress. At least in Middle School. Most for-profit clubs [Censored] from 1-6th grade. Get much better at 6-8th as parents get scared before hs. Most community based clubs are very good from 1-6th grade. Get worse as 6-8th as parents send their kids elsewhere before high school. But you will occasionally have programs like Kelly Post, Blue Claws and HoCo that are able to field the occasional AAA+ teams in the middle school years.

All 7 look like solid commits. To answer "who else can rival?" Hawks also have 7, going to many of the same great D1 schools. Also not sure that "7 out of 28 players" count as "many" for those trying to follow Coach Austin's T91 math from home.

That marketing does a great job of attracting talent, honestly. "Who else can rival 7 commits?" (a bunch of teams) "We never cut kids" (we exclude them from PT, no explanation, and expect them to realize they aren't wanted, and leave on their own) "Far and away the best club in MD" (well, probably the #5 club in MD) (much of 91's best talent comes from out of state, as well) "We develop players" (until the next hot prospect shows up from PA, VA, or TX) And yeah, it's interesting that the #1 2024 club in the country has only 7 total commits (or 7 announced commits, anyway) in mid-October. To be fair, some other good clubs have zero. But I'd bet the best MD clubs (year to year) are sitting at 5-10 D1 commits each, right now.

North of 15, how you doin? Who's got 15 2024 "Top D1 commits" meaning, top 16 ranked college programs? You don't get to backtrack and now make it "15 commits" or even "15 D1 commits." The original claim was "TOP D1 COMMITS."

North of 15, how you doin? 15? Hilarious. Look at IL. 7 commits and 2 aren't really 91 commits. They are out of state. It's 91's strategy to add out of state players to bolster rosters. They aren't a bad club but they are a marketing machine and MM will pad his son's roster.

Man, that’s a little harsh even for here. I’m a frequent badger, but there’s plenty to dislike about the program and the hammerhead(s) who run it without bringing his marriage into it.

We then left after 1st season b/c it was there was no sense of team and got tired of hearing MM blowing his own horn about how he’s the only coach who can do just about anything.

I have zero dogs in this fight. My kid plays for another program and is happy with his experience. As far as I can tell, the things you are arguing aren't true or rampant across Team 91 teams at all. Mostly the opposite. T91 only has one team at each grade level. And their roster sizes appear exactly the same as every other team we've played over the past few years. And the St Paul's league has been defunct for at least 5 years now. Are you referencing their larger '28 roster?

The 2024s have 20 commits so complaints are few. Name another locall with that, crickets. Ahh I see we have backed off the "7 Top D1 commits, name another local club with that, crickets!" brag, for a more general brag. OK. To keep this argument verifiable, IL lists 10, not 20, and has been updated in the last week. IL lists Crabs as having 14, which in most cases is more than 10. In both cases, sure, maybe there are some commits that have not been sent to IL. But that's not ONLY true for 91.

T91 has the best classes 24-25-26. Maybe 27 and up needs improvement but at the HS level - the best.

Yeah apparently didn't want to check back in with a "truth bomb" about how 91 has the most commits in the entire universe or whatever. Hit us with that "Top D1 Commits" number again Mark.

T91 has the best classes 24-25-26. Maybe 27 and up needs improvement but at the HS level - the best. For real dogg! THE BEST CLASSES. Stop wasting your time Mark, nobody from 3Step acquisitions department is reading BOTC. They'll be ready to buy, when you are ready to sell, in July 2025. Let's roll back the tape, and I quote, "Team 91 is head and shoulders the #1 club in Maryland." 2024: #27 national. #5 club in MD, #4 Team 91 squad 2025: #1 national. #1 club in MD, #1 Team 91 squad 2026: #43 national. #5 club in MD, #5 Team 91 squad 2027: #37 national. #6 club in MD. #4 Team 91 squad 2028: #162 national. #14 club in MD. #6 Team 91 squad 2029: >#200 national. I do not think this group has won more than 3 games total in their 2 year existence.

Go play somewhere else if you don’t like hold backs…. and BTW Millon #2 has never been held back Only if Prefirst counts as being on age Mark There's something great about being able to funnel your business interests into your kids' success, and vice versa, and several club owners/directors should actually be commended for that, not shamed for it. If he can use his expertise and money to leverage his kids' talents and make them "elite" (or at least have elite level marketing), then good for the Millons of the world. Where it becomes comical or worse is the maximized jockeying of the system WHILE CLAIMING YOU'RE NOT DOING IT. Everybody sees it. Tell us about the transfer to McD for Millon #1 (8th grade Part Deux for an already straight-A student). Or Pre-First for Millon #2. Just own it dude, sheeeesh. "Yeah I game the system for my kids, and everyone else is jealous. My kids are #1 recruits." See - that would be honest and accurate. Everyone already thinks you are a selfish donk without the excuses and vague half-truths...... - just own it and be the villain who wins in the end.
