MDU West is the B team, they decided not to do a color difference but East vs West. ITs the same group of kids who try out.

M&D Shore is formerly LBC, totally different tryouts, kids.
Same with Coppermine North, that's not a B team per say, its a different group under same umbrella.

Really hope the A division doesn't go to 16 teams. The schedule will be too watered down with bad teams. Limelight, FCA, Stars and CC lax shouldn't even be in the A division

Va Metro lost to pride white 7-8 and pride red 17-1, I don't think NGLL A is the place for them. They also lost to heros white and cclax

This is not happening. Lots of issues here. They won't have an uneven amount of teams, so they will either have 14 or 16. This list forgot Limelight (was in A last year) and would be in over Metro, Hero's White and NEMS. Those 3 teams definitely don't belong in A and Metro never plays in NGLL. The only reason Metro would play NGLL is the 3D tie to 3Step and Robinson sports now, but if anything, their 28 team would play in the B division.

There is still time for movement. They can reshuffle of the club requests a different division

Just FYI, 2027 last year had uneven amount of teams, one division played a divisional opponent twice. It was a big joke as M&D played the B winner twice. I honestly think they uneven divisions hurt that division.

They just did it off of rankings, MDU is better than M&D and HG according to rankings....and honestly history between the top teams.

Not sure you can put MDU ahead of M&D, maybe even. MDU is definitely better than Hero's.

So Coppermine mnd and Heros in 1 division. And MDU is a weak division. I hope you aren’t running the league.

LOL, I didn;t post that but I follow the guy's logic. Its probably more even than the way NGLL was last sure with the "North South" lineup.

The top 4 could trade wins and loses multiple times in a 10 game series. M &D beat MDU the only time they played, so using the rankings doesn't really help in that regards and coppermine didn't play MDU. Splitting the top 4 teams with 2 in one and 2 is as fair as you will get it.

The time when it can get lopsided, is if they have to play a team from the other division and those match ups aren't even. If MDU and Heros are in the same division and both have to play 1 out of division game, it shouldn't be where one plays coppermine and the other plays NEMS. But, if there are 15 or 16 teams do you even play teams from the other division?

Agreed top 4 could trade wins and losses depending on the day. One side will also have Crush who, say what you will, has been a good team that could upset a team ranked above them. Even if not, they are a lot better than next team down (Pride?). I guess it only matters in terms of seeding for teams vying for playoffs because 3 go from each side (right?). Seems like no matter how you hack it, top 6 will end up being MDU, M&D, Coppermine, Heros, Crush, Pride. Who else could make a run? Skywalkers? Their fall wasn't great, but I thought they were supposed to have made improvements.

Disagree on the top 4. M&D, Coppermine and MDU are in a separate tier, then you have Hero's and Crush. The top 3 are all better than Hero's and Crush and by a decent margin. Do agree on the top 6, those are the playoff teams.

How would a 6 team playoff work? Would everyone play every other team or would they only compete with other teams in their division before the final? Would there be byes or would goal differential be used?

I think the top 4 teams in each division should make the playoffs and play an elimination tournament with the first place team playing the last place team in the other division, etc. This would greatly lessen the impact of likely unbalanced divisions.

Based on 2027 last year, there are 6 playoff teams, with division winners getting a bye.
The #2 in North would play #3 in South, and vice versa.

The winner of the #2 vs #3 seed games plays the division winner opposite of the #2 seed.
This puts even more importance on division alignment.

It has to be that. That is what they promised the Virginia teams a couple years ago to get them to join the league.

Surprising to see the VA teams continue to play in the league. Only Pride is competitive. Metro and Stars may not win a game based on schedules.

But aren't all these teams outside of the top 4-5 somewhat competitive with each other? I get that they won't challenge the top teams, but that's just 2-3 games depending on division. I'm not familiar enough with all of the teams but couldn't a reasonable goal be to match up well with the rest of the teams in the division?

MC elite is in the A division?? This is getting very watered down. They wouldn't beat half the B teams.

They will Lose, didn't their 2 best players move to top Maryland clubs? No coach is going to fix that.

No the best two players remain on the team.

No one cares about MC elite, Metro or Stars here. They are all bad teams that won't beat anyone in ngll and shouldn't be in A. Shrink the A league down to 10 teams and throw everyone else into B.

What’s here? The only place girls can play lacrosse? Guessing you never played the game and living through your daughter.

You'd still have 5 teams that would get crushed against the other 5, why not open it up and let the 10-15 teams take a shot at the others?

All this means is that you don't care about those teams.
