No college coaches watching the 26 class at showcases. Save your money for a year.

And let me temper your expectations too.
There are very few college coaches watching recruiting (national) tournaments for rising sophomores.
A handful. But not many. If we go to tournaments it’s likely to see rising JRs we have already heard from.

Rosters should be set now, so who got better? I hear there is a good bit movement across the DMV teams - Some MadLax starters going to DCE and NL. A DCE starter headed to MadLax. And some movement across the non starters.
Looks like FCA is now the best of FCA and Looneys. Who else lost and gained?

Yep. Aside from the attack that went to Crabs. Who didn’t FCA pick up that was better?

Yep. Aside from the attack that went to Crabs. Who didn’t FCA pick up that was better? Deals set in motions prior to tryouts between looneys and FCA led to 3 better middies and 2 better attack than what is rostered to find teams elsewhere.

Give Craig some credit....If he wasn't able to cut a deal, his kid would be playing for Breakers or Koopers. Well done Craig!!!

Predators got the bulk of those kids. FCA is The Land of Empty Promises. Nope. Predators picked up a few former Looney's players. The largest block of guys went to FCA. The rest went to other teams. Anyone who says otherwise is full of it.

A coach shouldn’t be promising playing time or a roster spot. Earn it.

When take ‘em to is lacking and the kids can’t find a home, these parents intercede and make deals. Inevitably these kids get swallowed up when they play against higher level competition.

FYA, Showcase lacrosse is different than club lacrosse which is different than high school lacrosse. He asked about showcases.

I'm hearing a lot of news from my son and his friends about movement among DCE, NextLevel, MadLax, and VLC. It will be interesting to see final rosters.

I am hearing that club lacrosse is ruining the sport- it is all a money grab and these programs could care less about the kids. So- kids lost- club owners gain. (So we can avoid the “hit the wall” response- my kid got three offers and then only went out for two teams. )

MadLax lost a few starters to NL and DCE. DCE lost a starter to ML. And a few contributors moved across each - one NL to ML, 2 DCE to NL. So lots of movement. Although not sure about VLC.
