From what the rumors are Legacy didn't upgrade they downgraded on the goalie position

Would you recommend joining a "B" Team for $3,500 for the year or use that money and find multiple clinics throughout the year. I feel that travel teams, even B travel teams focus most on winning and less on teaching and developing the kids

For some that’s true but there are examples where the second team gets just as good teaching and developing as the first team.

Surge is where it’s at

Not at 91. B teams are always second class citizens.

As B teams go. 91 B teams beat all the other Long Island programs B teams. And a lot of programs A teams.

and they run 25-30 deep, B teams are made up of the money clubs don’t want to turn away.

So…if Surge is beating A teams why aren’t they playing in A brackets? How much of challenge is it for the players if they aren’t getting any competition in the B brackets? That’s right. They can’t because they could play in same bracket as venom and god forbid surge ever beat Venom… lol

Hitmen still has upcoming tryouts this weekend and only $50 (and half the price of other clubs). Yes a B team but you're not second fiddle to the "A" team....nor do you face low turnout practices due to typical B team parents.
It is coached by a 2x All American and NCAA champion who can actually move on the field with the boys. If you're tired of the big money clubs (with rosters that are locked) give it a shot. They are not AA and not planning on going to the WSOL but they have great coaching.....and they are just coming off a big tourney win in their division in Lake George Tourney this past weekend.

They don’t beat a lot of A teams. Look it up.

Surge will be fine with or without your kid. It's a non toxic environment and we get very good coaching. I know my son really enjoys being on this team. Go find his happiness

Nothing to laugh about. Most B teams get half the attention and coaching and the cost is the same. Sound advice actually.

Anyone know any of the outrageous costs of some clubs this yr ??

All programs should post costs but only a few do. Got this from a friend in MD, posted on their website.

Did Turtles keep the group together? Had decent core of kids. I know people will bash them and say they are a B team and so on.. lol

So who upgraded? I am hearing the Rebels grabbed a nice group of kids and should be better. Not saying they are gonna be the best but should be competitive in top brackets.

Rebels lost their best kid for the second year in a row and turtles had under 10 even sign up for their tryouts, so they are done done. Rush lost 1 good middie to Legacy, will the turtles kids that could barely beat b teams help Legacy that much? They’ll certainly be better but no where near Venom. Btb will be a failed experiment losing all the turtles kids

I’m sure they added 5, but the facts are 2 years in a row the best kid has left the team. Lots of talk last year and their results were abysmal compared to the promises of the “elite 18” last year

Legacy director really needs to get off this site. Every ranking has them near top. Seriously stop
