What was the turnout at Koopers/ True Baltimore tryouts? Are the True parents happy knowing they will become the AA team and Koopers will be the AAA team? Heard the 3 best players from True will move to Koopers while the bottom of Koopers roster will move to True. Can’t imagine parents are happy with this transition. Turnout was pretty strong, about 100 players for the two teams. True has been upfront with the parents from both teams about plans moving forward. If a player tryouts and gets moved either way, its not like the family didn't know it was a possibility. So its up to them whether to accept or not. If they're bitter about not being where they feel their player should be on these teams, maybe encourage the player to work to get better, or as the hammerheads on these boards say "sorry you got cut. Now HIT THE WALL". True Baltimore literally had three good players. So, Koopers basically got better by 3 players (one of them a very strong shooter). Not expecting either team to set HOCO on fire next year. Koopers didnt get True's "top 3" players. But it did take 3 of True's starters.

Good luck Koopers families.
I’ve never heard a less knowledgeable group of parents from the stands than True.

I’ve never heard a less knowledgeable group of parents from the stands than True. You must not have been to a 2027 BLC game. Disinterested kid coach with a bunch of dads trying to help and a bunch of rich suburban moms screaming "pass the ball" as a kid is dodging towards goal.

Not outside the realm of possibility. The second NL team was 7-0 in AAAA. Meanwhile Zingos was 0-7 in Elite.

You heard it here first, no way will Crabs finish 2nd. They did not pick up much talent and picked up scraps from FCA and Koopers.

Wrong thread. NL only has 1 team in 2027. You must be referencing a different year.

I’ve never heard a less knowledgeable group of parents from the stands than True. Nobody who has ever played lax would ever believe that "we train more" moves athletes from average to elite (yes, it does move lax players from horrible to average). True preys on parents in areas like Harford Co, Cecil Co, and the Glen Burnie / Dena area who have no idea what lax IQ and mental player development are about, and how much difference it makes in 9th-10th grade.

True knows those types of parents are in every area of Maryland. It's why they have teams in Baltimore, DC and Annapolis. #MotivationalTrainingSlogan #PromisesOfNationalTeams #BLevelTournaments

2027 Elite-
ZIngos Out Team MD in If DCE isn't in Elite, the club is probably going in a direction where 2027's won't be around for next summer and the club will most likely fold after that.

Not even close . There probably won’t be much change from top 3 teams last year
Hawks NL ML 91 Crabs FCA Team md True
DCE not in discussion first year team Top 3 we all know mostly stays same 91 got better Crabs lost ton offense which where they struggled last year FCA - lost kids doubt they replaced True - probably stays same maybe adds some more obnoxious parents Team Md- don’t be surprised if they don’t end up in middle

DCE not in discussion first year team I guess the dce 2026's didn't play elite? You don't know anything. The BLC 2026 team was already in elite, so DCE continued in their place. BLC 2027 was in the next lower division, so people are wondering if HoCo will find room in elite for DCE 2027 in the spring.

Let me know how that turned out . If you think DCE is going to play Elite tell me how many kids you stole from other current elite teams. Because that’s what it would take.

The only elite team players moving over to BLC, whoops I mean DCE, are the ones that don't get any playing time and are looking for greener pastures. You're going to end up with a middle of the road AAA team that might be able to pull off a better record than last season when they went 4-3. Also, how does the 2026 DCE team have anything to do with this? Are there members of that team that are holding back for another year of middle school?

It's not a Preds boast but a prediction of the future of DCE. If DCE is not going to play in Elite, the founder will fold up the club. His son is done with HoCo and he has very little incentive to keep it going. The 2027 feeder BLC team was average before the coach walked out during the pandemic with 13 players and now they aren't very competitive at all. The 2028 BLC team isn't good either. DCE 2027's might make it to the summer season only because they collect the team fee for the year.
You are correct. The DCE 2027 got no one from NL, a couple of DMV ML players, a couple of VLC. and a couple of Team MD. Otherwise, the core is the BLC 2027's and that's not very good.
The 2026 DCE team comes into this because it was a first year club playing Elite.

The 2026 DCE team comes into this because it was a first year club playing Elite. Hmmm, not sure how you could call 2026 DCE a "first year club" for the spring 2022 season when I'm guessing it was mostly the 2026 BLC Blue team renamed DCE. 2026 BLC Blue played in Elite in 2021, so it was not a big deal that they would continue in Elite for 2022 as the rebranded 2026 DCE. Unless 2027 DCE puts on incredible fall and spring thaw tournament showings against elite level teams, the competition committee will keep them in AAA.

Someone prior said they were a first year team and had no chance at elite. The point is the DCE founder and coaches aren't sticking around for sub Elite teams. AA

Because only the Hawks, NL, and ML can be good. And nobody will ever leave. In fact every kid from those teams will take face offs at Syracuse. All of them. Incredible.

Regardless if you like those teams or not they have been top 3 forever and I don’t see that changing. And no my son doesn’t play for any of the 3.

All you need to know: Hawks remain relatively same. Crabs has new midfield with some '26 holdbacks. 91 has new attack and midfield. FCA has new defense and goalkeeping. Zingos move to AAA Team MD moves to Elite. Hawks will be the team to beat. Team MD will be the surprise team of Elite. Crabs holdbacks might help them score. 91 and FCA will be playing for 4th best in MD. ML will beat the rest.

Elite goalies are never between teams I don’t know about that. There aren’t a lot of elite teams out there. So there could be an elite goalie without a home.

Try MadLax. They rely on fly in goalies and would probably be happy to have a local.

We’re out of state. Played some over the summer with one of the elite teams. Looking for a club that might be open to an out of state player.

Try the elite team you guested with. I can’t think of any elite division teams who need help at goalie. Some even have 2 good options.
