Those must be teams on 1 because there is no Team Energy or Impact. The teams are Destiny, Thrive, Fight, Spirit, Inspiration, Prospect, and Relentless. Teams Destiny and Fight look loaded. Would be surprised that there are more 29s than 28s playing. Lists are alphabetical order with 2028 and then restart for the 2029. It is close but a couple more 2029’s on each team. That's not correct, at least not for the first 3 teams in the list. The restart of those teams are still all 28s.

The rest of us have no idea what you’re speaking about without seeing rosters etc.

It very well may be a money grab, but its not about the potential interaction with college coaches, it is about the possibility of getting to interact with the pros and the women they look up to. There aren't many opportunities for girls to see the women they see on TV in person, so it is definitely a cool concept for the younger girls. Lacks some execution, but the idea is great. So your comment is dead wrong that people attending it are thinking about recruiting. Quite the opposite. Let them be little and enjoy their "fan girl" moments with the pros while they are still into that.

Satisfying a girls dream is admirable. However, the comments from parents that led to the "recruitment" comment more closely align with their daughters' opportunities and less with their daughters enjoyment. Just saying!

This is no different than American Select or UA that everyone loves here. Getting a chance to see or work with the pros will be something they can enjoy and talk about. Ignore the haters here, they complain and whine and put down everything here. They are miserable for other people's success and envious of others.

It may be true in some instances that people are envious and miserable for other’s success, but not when it comes to AU Futures. Everyone who tried out for this event was invited, so nothing to envy. Overly cynical and judgmental is probably more accurate.

Two week ago posters were very cryptic about new rosters saying "you'll find out" about all the movement at tryouts after MidAtlantic....but then there was no big reveal. Coppermine was talking a big game (or were they Coppermine trolls?), sounded like Skywalkers probably added quite a few, but that was it. Anything else of note from tryouts? Sounds like the same 5 teams are going to neck-and-neck next year if none lost players...with the potential addition of a sixth (Skywalkers).

Top 5 probably all added an impact player or 2, so match-ups will be similar this year. And yes, assuming Skywalkers summer additions stick around through the fall seasons.

How about Crush? The experts on here said the team was gonna lose all their talented players...any news on their roster? Did they lose or gain any talent?

Congrats to both MD teams for making it to the finals at the AU futures camp. Virginia came in 3rd, so the DMV region represented itself well.

Agree, lots and lots of talent in the Mid Atlantic. All 3 teams led the way and were full of good players.
Now break time until the new additions debut in the fall.

Did we ever hear final movement or additions to MDU, Heros and Crush? I know we said M&D added 3 Coppermine added 3 and a goaile. It doesn't seem like there was really any movement between the top, but any big pick ups from A- or B teams?

M&D and Coppermine's additions all came from Lower A teams or top B teams and most of them were the top 1-2 players from those teams. Looks like from rosters, Hero's Green added a good amount of new players.

Heros Green picked up a girl that was held back in 6th grade specifically for lacrosse.

Why is it not surprising that a holdback goes to Hero's. They still have a long way to go to compete with M&D, Coppermine and MDU.

Holding back in 6th grade is definitely deliberate, but I think you are misrepresenting most of the "hold backs" on some of the other teams. Birth year alone does not tell the whole story. If you are born after Sept. 30th, you aren’t allowed to enroll in kindergarten. So while someone born in October, November or December may have an advantage of being 9 months older, they are not breaking the rules...they are actually following them. Just because you see 2012 as a birth year for a 2028 does not mean they reclassified.

This girl is a definite holdback in 6th grade for lacrosse. Two years ago she tried out for 2027 Green and didn’t make it. She was on Renegades 27 this year. Her sister did the same thing. She was on Heros White 2025, repeated 8th grade, and is now on M&D black 2026.

I was not doubting the holdback status of the girl on Heros, rather saying that the 2nd half of the comment about players on the other top teams is often misconstrued

Do the Hero's additions push them up into the Top 3 this year? Does Skywalkers continue to get better and better with a strong summer? How long before Crush implodes?

Who was Skywalkers able to add to the roster? People said they had a lot at tryouts. If they got some good additions, I think they'd at least be in competition with the top 5. Sounds like Skywalkers 27 got significantly better as well. I's starting to look like those who said poor-performing Skywalker's teams would improve with age were right.

Not sure about Crush “ imploding”, but I do know they got stronger! Teams getting "stronger" has been referenced multiple times after tryouts. These girls didn't come out of thin air, so some teams have to be weaker as a result. Will NGLL be even more lopsided this year? And don't they add more teams to A at this age level?
