Rumors are flying….. crabs looking to load up with more 25s at tryouts today. On age kids are getting nervous. King Crabs has the jets on the runway from TX, AL, FL, GA, SC, NC, CA, WA, OR, PA, OH, MI, NJ, CO & beyond. They will also be picking up applications for the BL "International Boarding School" at the Crabs registration desk. On age local players should be registering for other clubs immediately. King loves older, bigger OOS, even if you are better, on age local. My son is looking forward to the Challenge!! Tryouts start tonight!!!! Hope to see you there!! Wow a lot of post season drama for the Crabs - didn't know they had fallen so far? No drama at all; just a bunch of trolls making a big deal out of a bad weekend. This Team will continue to grow and get better! Why aren't the Hawks and DCE in NLF? No drama at all; they’re just not as good as they think they are. No drama, just a dose of reality.

It just seems like an MIAA political machine without a strong team dynamic or environment where players get better. 100% developing players. Bottom line is if your kid doesn't perform after countless practices and games he is going to get replaced. Just like in HS.....next man up. Just ask BL, CH, McD etc. You would know, that’s what they did to Joe.

Fake news and you obviously have no clue to what is going on within the team. BTW nice job naming names dad.

Predators Summer Tryouts
Looney's 2026 team is in the process of disbanding and the boys are headed to various other clubs. The 2025 team disbanded a few weeks ago, and 2023 is done for the year. That leaves Looney's with one team - the 2024s. Web site still has 2020-2021 season info up, so draw your own conclusions as to the future of this club. They still have a team? Didn't their coach and son chase a ref to the parking lot and threaten him? That was Roughriders

Looks like the hawks players aren’t so happy on their current team. Several hawks kids giving it a try at the crabs team.
If you get beat them, join them.

Movement around the Baltimore is in full swing. Looks like FCA is going to get some 91, Crabs and Looneys. Some are seconds but several key players have already verbally committed.
Crabs and FCA will have the biggest gains this summer!

Crabs and FCA will have the biggest gains this summer! FCA is a second tier team at the 2026 level. Anyone coming there from any clubs are 2nd tier players who will play well against lesser competition but struggle against elite teams/players. DCE, Hawks and Crabs for HS ball in this area.

This is someone who has no clue; my guess is a Looney’s or FCA parent trying to find a home. There will be small changes if any on Crabs/ Hawks. Both teams are talented and it comes down to where will your son have the best opportunity to excel. FCA is a hard pass simply based on their “philosophy” and coaching.

At this age, tryouts are almost meaningless. Granted there are some exceptions and some diamonds in the rough but for the most part teams already invited players. The tryouts are really generating money for the club. Crabs, 91 and FCA are benefitting this year. There a handle full of new crabs coming from Hawks. The other two programs are fighting for the rest.

Anyone cut from these teams are most likely spot players that got very little playing time but will excel against lesser competition. These kids will mostly likely be on the benches at CH, BL, LB and McD for the next 4 years unfortunately.

Welcome to the MIAA Years I honestly miss the early 2022 version of this forum, where every dad from Oxon Hill to Severna Park to Perry Hall was popping up and talking about the "serious interest" "pursuing him" and "definite lax scholarships" that various MIAA coaches were going to give their sons. How did that all work out by the way.

Just wait until the reality of spring tryouts hit on La Salle Rd: “Split in half and do line drills.” “Now all the kids on this side of the field, go home!” Those left over can have fun on the bench watching the same handful of Varsity kids underperform…or playing JV as JRs.
