Rebels AA teams please stop 😂

Rebels stealth are 21-0 and have won every tourney they have played. Iglioo is 15-4 and have lost to rebels 3 times. That’s the facts Jack. It’s Rebels going into to next season. I see a few little Eskimo’s looking to move over the Rebs.

Rebels had tryout today, think 1/2 Iglioo team there.

LOL! THE REBELS SECOND OR THIRD TEAM….. THEY BEAT THE REBELS RAIDERS, AND BARELY ESCAPED S2S….CONGRATS….

Some of the igloo kids are very good. What’s going to happen to the kids on the back of the roster of stealth Do they get dropped down to the B team. Or do the Rebels carry 30 kids on their top team. Going to be interesting to see what happens.

Rebels should have ability to make Stealth even more of a super team, and build their riot team into a legit team as well. Expect them to have 2 of the top teams at this age.

I would say stealth has 6-8 spots available. Team had a few 2 nd graders and few went to riot. Core 15/16 all coming back. Simple Math. , spots are available, and if your son is a top player on his current team, he should be at tryouts. That’s only if you want to be in #1 team in The USA .

Third grade rankings don’t really matter but I’ll bite…

Is Igloo above Madlax because they beat them once? And lost once but, hey, let’s just count the championship. The Rebels have beaten Igloo three times in a row but you guys keep posting these rankings as if it changes those results. If you write it on a message board, it must be true. Enjoy the last few weeks of your child’s season.

Igloo keeps getting ranked above the Rebels because it drives the rebels dad crazy. He keeps falling for it. He is being trolled

No one close to rebels and they are getting better. Every top kid on island trying to come to them

Be careful what you wish for. They are a good team a very good team. If all the other top players come over. That means some of or a lot of the current roster will be pushed down or pushed aside. I’ve been around club lacrosse for years before I had kids I coached. Very few organizations can manage 2 good teams. The parents on the second team alway feel left out or feel like they are playing second fiddle to the top team. Creates too much drama and eventually it falls apart

People also want to play for clubs where that have a chance to play in WSYL in a few years. Everyone knows. The non stop self promoting becomes counterproductive.

When going through upcoming tryouts, roster size should be your #1 question, on any given team.

18 is perfect and anything beyond 20 is a money grab. Reasonable game playing time beyond 18 is near impossible. If a club far exceeds 20, run!!!!!!

I will NOT commit to a team that will carry anymore than 22 players. To no fault of the kids and parents and sometimes coaches, these teams will be plagued with an extremely toxic environment.

Ideal team size for games 18:
4 Defense
6 Middies
4 Attack
1 LSM
1 FOGO
2 Goalies

Ideal team size for practices 20:
5 Defense
6 Middies
1 LSM
1 FOGO
5 Attack
2 Goalies

Directors should be upfront on roster size. If they don’t offer this, you should ask the question before you commit. RUN if roster spots exceed 22 or you don’t get a clear answer. Advocate for your son by asking the question and keeping the clubs accountable.

18 is to small, you have no idea what your talking about.

4 defense? 1 takes a penalty. you don't rely on your LSM in that situation as the 4th pole on man down.
you play 4 defense and 1 shorty. you need 5 def minimum.

Not the guy that posted the above statement but 18 was the norm not too long ago. Then club teams moved to 20 that was the standard until Express 2022 team started adding players. Cant blame them, back then it was $2,700 per year 2-4 extra players per team ( 9 grades) per year. That's a lot money almost 2 full teams of extra players with the combined grade years. They still got their top kids recruited while they took all the extra money. Their thinking at the time was "well we told the parents it would beneficial to have their kid on the second team but they wanted their kid on the A team (back then it was A teem and B team no AA ) Then more parents started asking to have their kids on the A team next thing the roster was at 30 Then they started calling the A team AA and the B team A then the C team was now a B team Parents lined up to get their kids on these teams. I was coaching another team at the time, we lost a few kids to them. eventually other clubs saw how much they were making and joined in. Now its out of control. Cant blame the clubs they are in business to make a profit It's the crazy parents that caused club lacrosse to spiral out of control.

Once they learn of the coaches reputation and learn why he got dumped from another club they will RUN to 91. Guy needs to learn how to treat kids...some example he sets. I'm sure the college coaches love dealing with him...

Agree with this. Once upon a time it was 18-20. But the new norm is 20-22. I would be very surprised if anyone carry’s 18 these days.

Not sure about that. The coaches of the 31 igloo team are truly special leaders. Other clubs should be so lucky. Enjoy last two weeks and tryouts.

I heard some of the higher ceiling Rebels Stealth kids are going to Igloo. Tryout season shaking thing up for 2023.

Rebels are too high. Not losing in last 40 games, yes they should be ranked #7. 91 has not won a game but think they are the top team. Just because the directors have small brains and feel Its automatic. Guess what your run has come to a screeching halt. 91 express Eskimo’s will fight for 2-4. Legacy is done, turtles are done , s2s is well really done. Rebels Rule LI and Nation. Should have got on the train, now it’s rolling all over. I s amazing what’s happening. Owners of 2-4 should sell know, your on the way OUT. Will be worthless after tryouts.

Igloo won Hershey and Rebels Stealth won the NXT Cup. Congratulations to both teams. Way to keep it on the Island. Only a few more chips left…

Glad those LI boys can win championships while other teams are sending skeleton crews to summer tournaments.

Who tf is Eclipse? They’re not beating HoCo teams.

eclipse is out of CT. in about 3-4 years their team will be fully reclassed and at least 1-2 years older than most LI teams and destroying the competition. Prep school kids.
