Interesting you have UA all Americans but can make the MIAA all conference team. Please say it aint so... I hope that doesnt happen. And there it is... Wray CH/Georgetown and All American not picked. Hes better than 3 of the middies and 1 of the attack. Take your pick. Coaches nominate and advocate for the top ones they want. So that means the CH coach didn’t think Wray was their best middie. Travis Smith JC UPenn commit maybe best player in the league. Zero stars according to IL……

St. Mary’s has 3 players name to the MIAA A all conference team.
George Acton LSM Georgetown commit Will Hopkins Attackman Bucknell commit Nick Golini attackman Navy commit No Goalie? Have not seen the complete list. Schools that have been showing players no goalie so far and yes thought the stm goalie was top notch and one of the best in the league if not the best. All three from STM are deserving I suppose. I will say that given the year STM had, and their biggest impact being on defense, I’m surprised that two of their three all conference selections were offensive players where they struggled at times. Congrats to all the STM players at Maryland for winning the National Championship. Even better job keeping those uniforms perfectly clean most of the season. It was surprising to see all those kids from one school on the Terps and never to have seen any on the field all year. What's the story behind that? Freshman and sophomores with covid Md has a ton 5th years players totally screwed the new kids. But still they get a ring and play for a top D1 program for all the haters. Just like the team managers.

Probably advocating for family members instead thinking the other was a given. Bad move.

Were you at the tryouts? Since when has your tryout performance determined if you made the UA team or not?

No more hat money for the MIAA since junior didn’t make all conference. No UA either. FInally judged on merit and look what happens. Going to be tough sledding seeing the field at Navy if talent wins out. Probably ends up at VMI after freshman year if he wants to actually play Dude give it a rest! Please inform us of your kids accolades or better yet some of the mistakes that he has made. Better yet just post your name on here and we can all the leave the kids out of it. I wonder, will you start a Navy forum and continue to trash a young man because you clearly dont like his dad.It has been entertaining thus far but it is over now. Have to agree... it was funny for a while but now that the season is over, move forward.

Give me the “vibe”’at McDonough. The school in general. As a prospective parent, this school is the one we know the least about. Will do the open houses in the fall. Top.. 2 or 3 academically? Liberal/conservative? Dopeople enjoy the 5 day boarding aspect? In lieu of a traditional boarding school.
Not starting a fight hopefully… just looking for some different perspectives from the local lacrosse parent What’s the vibe… hmmm… liberal. Nerdy. Terrific facilities. Blah colors. That’s a non McD parent take.

That’s a non McD parent take. Open to conservatives if your kid is well educated and can defend his position. A little bit of Daniel in the Lion's Den is good for this generation. Civil educated discourse is encouraged and required. Be prepared to be challenged academically. Collegiate level time management skills are required to be a high performing three sport athlete and take multiple APs. Five day boarding option is great if you live far away. Has a better campus than most of the Ivies I've visited. Unless you're stuck on the single sex model or have to be at a religiously affiliated school, this is the best college prep option available in the Bmore region. Really tough to get into the School. If you get in, accept....

They did just fine by not going there. They try to make classes close to 50/50 boy/girl-I think they still use those terms @ McD. In talking to parents who have removed their kids, the academics are much stronger elsewhere in MIAA conference. Why would a student need to "defend" position outside of debate club?? Can't they just attend and have a position like other schools? You like that McD cool aid.

Were you at the tryouts? Since when has your tryout performance determined if you made the UA team or not? So McDonough, St Pauls, and SP will be the only kids on the team. I heard the McDonough goalie looked good.

Always has a few cream of the crop athletes - just lacks depth in certain sports. 1a or 1b along with Gilman for top academic institution. Expensive. Tough to get in.
