I would assume the teams that passed and shared the ball did well (M&D), and the team that was selfish most likely lost and didn't make the playoffs (SW), and the team with 20 kids injured ran out of gas (Heros).
Bingo…a lot of SW players and parents not happy with the selfish play not being addressed.

It will never get addressed at any level. 23 team only team that actually gets coached. Tons of talent they just play iso ball and force turnovers or flop to ground to get calls. Works vs weaker teams. Sw parents that aren’t happy are looking into better options.

You are 100% right. Hero's made a good run but my guess is that they were beat. M&D shared the ball for the first time in a long time and everyone contributed. Their defense played particularly well. With their depth and the injury bug hitting the girls in green, they should be the favorites for the MA.
The typical local players made it. The first place team had several players who did not get recognized except for their goalie who was amazing!!! They beat our team with ease. Looked like the only team who played team ball.
I think the competition level was very strong and more consistent than UA… coaches were fine, 2 coaches to each team and they seemed to actually coach instead of just having college girls sub.
Skywalkers, M&D, and Heros any movement detected? I know Hero's is short benched but no open tryouts for them or Skywalkers. M&D tryouts are open but they seem to be in top form lately. Maybe it is new ownership pushing tryouts for M&D. Depending on injury status you would think Hero's should have tryouts if anyone should. I also think it is ridiculous that tryouts should start before the end of the season.
Competition at juniors open was sub par. You clearly had some girls who had no business being there.
As does every event like Juniors open. There are even players on the Under Armour Senior teams who have no business being there. Every event is political. There’s no way around it. Don’t try out and don’t pay if you don’t like it.
It is a giant mess for a middle income family. I would chime in to say the Rec and parks sponsored programs like Hoco are the most affordable option. 1/2 to 2/3 of the costs of other programs. Other Rec programs are trying to do likewise as these club fees of 3K, do I hear 4k?, + travel costs really pinch a family budget. No one would design the club lacrosse world as it is if they were starting from scratch. Just give thanks you live it the Mid Atlantic or your travel fees would only be higher elsewhere in the country. Super weak national org concerned mainly with national teams. I am cheering on the local Rec orgs trying to develop a "club" like team for 500 to 800 per year. This is what would really grow the game.
