Looks like 91 will struggle the summer with the big boys.
Should be several pages of whining on this board to look forward too.
But hey USCL says you are a 99.99!! If your going to talk nonsense just say what team your child rides the bench on.

To me it doesn't look like it's actually the 91 parents that are whining. It seems to be everyone else stalking the team who does the whining and posting about the venom boys.

I thought we were talking about Texas? As of now, the Tx Nationals are the best team on Long Island. This is funny. I hope the Texas Nationals show up to Naptown with t-shirts that say "Champions of Long Island."

How bout some cheese with that wine about “oh, the kids from TX were big and fast because they must be older.” Or “all the kids from MD are held back, so when they smoke us this summer, there’s an asterisk.” No, it’s the 91 dads whining having never stepped foot off the Island. See you in DE this weekend.

Well I’m glad it’s just all in good fun on here… seriously. The kids are oblivious (hopefully) to the adults flashing their gums on a bulletin board. The kids just play, and hopefully they’ll have a ton of fun out there this summer, winning and losing. Let’s not forget, some of these kids from 91, Hawks, Madlax, and maybe even the TX Nationals, will likely be teamates at some point. Just glad the boys are not wearing masks….

We will find out this weekend who the best teams are. And yes, that will still be a moment in time for a bunch of 6th graders. Should be a fun summer with lots of competitive teams. Everyone on here knows the club ranking from may mean nothing. Hoping for competitive games this weekend in Delaware.

As expected, LI takes a hit vs. non-metro Ny comp that is bigger, faster, stronger and as talented. That will be the norm for the next three years. Still a great team and well coached, but outside the cupcake bubble. They Looked tired and hesitant at times. Plenty of talent there and coaches on the sideline to figure it out. Should be a bunch of great games tomorrow. read:older Oh, so the TX kids are older, that’s why they won. Pathetic. 91 has not beaten a single Elite level team over the past 12 months. Not one. Well how are they all bigger, faster and stronger? Diet? Exercise? Identify the best athletws and put sticks in their hands?Nearly every out of state “elite level team” have bigger, faster, stronger kids than LI teams at most of the younger age levels. Is it something in the water on LI? Superior genes elsewhere? No, fact is alot of them are older. It’s within the rules and at this point why complain about it anymore because it will never change. But don’t come say “they’re bigger faster and stronger” and expect no one to say they are older. There are no Venom parents on here complaining about ages. We got beat. Was great to play good teams in close games will only make both sides better. We need to get better and will. This weekend will be more fun

But hey USCL says you are a 99.99!! Big boys is right, puberty when you are an actual 7th grader playing against 6th graders is a BIG BOY advantage. As it has been said though in many of the previous holdback whine sessions, there is no rule so it doesn't matter. I just hope when your 2008 kid is beating up on a 2010 you realize what you're pounding your chest about. Be proud of the win... against much younger kids. 6th-8th grade should be age based. No other fair playing field.

Other than Venom, every other top team from NJ thru MA will be at Tri-Star. Bummer. But many of those teams will have a chance to take a shot at Venom this weekend at NAL or at NLF.

Another my lollipop tourney mistake. Was on separate weekends A few years back. Then switched, now Tristar and Captain C run a first class AA A tourney while laxfest is another flop B tournament.

NAL will be a dinosaur, wait and see. Legacy should withdraw, and not be involved. If they stay will just end up another B tourney. If it’s AA they need to exit. Taz is only AA team, rest are B at best. Goodbye legacy

The field at NAL is far superior to the one at Tristar The field at NAL is great, many Maryland teams won’t travel to Long Island so it is what it is. You can only see some of those teams by traveling south. TriStar is a terrific field though. They have many teams like 3D New England, 4Leaf and Eclipse that you won’t see at the NAL which are very good programs. Most importantly it’s great competition held ON Long Island!

MD teams do travel. Vail, MA, Orlando, Philly, to name a few. NY was a joke last two years, banned people from visiting due to COVID.
NAL, Naptown, PrimeTime (CT) and NLF will be loaded fields.

Laxfest is the same weekend so we know where venom will be. BTB is a pickup team without the boys from other clubs they cant play. BTB is not a pick up team. It is however, a new team. The majority of the boys do not play on other clubs. 5 or 6 do play for the Turtles as well. They did pick tournaments to avoid any conflicts. It's a good group of kids and the coach is doing a nice job and putting in the time to develop them. So far they have been competitive and will continue to improve.
