I guarantee you king crab does not care what u think

We had the 2027 game after the Crabs/game. The size difference between the 2 teams was incredible and I know ML has a bunch of players born prior to 9/1 but it was ridiculous. After the game, the Crabs were heading to their bags with their helmets off and it really looked like some of them should be high school sophomores. There were definitely more than a couple of 2006 birthdays out there. Ridiculous.

Loyola's 26 class is going to be something special. In a few years I have Mcdonough vs loyola as a constant rivalry.

Since you are in the know, how about listing the number of birthdays on the Crabs roster by month from January thru August of 2007? No names.

All this hoco garbage is NOTHING compared to my boys lacrosse in long island. Express will forever be dominant and absolutely fold you baltimore/florida teams. My son grant will be ranked number one in a few years.

How about how many crabs kids on on roster born between September 1 2007-August 31, 2008. Those are the on age 2026 kids.

Pretty sure they would need to tryout and actually make the team before given a spot. I can see 1 maybe 2 being able to make it.

Great guy and has done amazing things for my sons development. Things just did not work out at Looney's but much of it was out of his hands. Enough with the Looneys bashing! Good kids and good parents there.

That's a clever way of saying the team is almost entirely born prior to 9/1 2007 and it's not against the rules because they are in 8th grade. However, most of those kids delayed entry to school prior to 1st grade and 4 of them actually repeated a grade and are considered a holdback.

Sure because rosters aren’t already set before tryouts. Everyone knows that’s decided way before. The head crab coach wasn’t even at tryouts the second day last year. Get ready they’re coming.

It doesn't say that at all and it's you who doesn't understand and can't read. There is no age restriction in HoCo, therefore they are on age. There is zero chance only 4 players on Crabs are born prior to 9/1/2007, zero. In 2018, Crabs had 3 8th graders turning 16 prior to entering 9th grade on the roster. My suspicion is this team has 4.

Looney's situation is unfortunate. The coach is a good guy and knows a lot about lax. He is at an age where there are some personal distractions that keep him from having the team perform at its top potential. Family comes before lacrosse. Losing our defense really hurt the team in many ways. It looks like several of our kids will tryout for multiple teams this summer. The parents and kids have been great throughout the seasons. There are several top players on this team and will start for other teams.

Only 4 players on the Crabs is currently 15 yrs old.

How many are 16?

Or they can join a 30+ kid roster full of holdbacks and kids that fly in from out of state. Imagine peaking in life because your son is on crabs. Is it all you dreamed it would be?

There are many fathers on this forum outside the Crabs who live and breathe this stuff to a point of insanity. Worry about your own kid. Makes you wonder why?

They are majority prefirst and holdbacks. Less than 5 are on age . There is nothing wrong with it either. MIAA students/players are on the older side. If you want to compete and play in MIAA, you better be older holdback/prefirst. Dont like it, go rec and play public HS. If MIAA is your goal. Well then join the club and be older. Real simple, and it is within the rules here in MD club and elsewhere.

Nobody outside the triangle gives a hoot about the MIAA. I'd love someone to do an analysis of MIAA players in the NCAA tournament. What percentage come from MIAA schools?

Make sure your kids are educated. Make sure they actually love the game. Make sure they actually get to play.

Just curious is any is watching the NCAA lacrosse tournament. How many 5 year and 6 year seniors have been mentioned? It’s part of the lacrosse culture and isn’t going away. Whether you like it or not it is here to stay. So move on from this tiresome topic.

Don't be naive. Dozens and dozens of MIAA players are currently listed as 2022 commits on Inside Lacrosse. The current top player of the year candidate, Logan Wisnauskas, is a 6th year UNDERGRAD. He's going to be 26 this year. Maryland has something like 22 grad and senior players on the 45 man roster. But that's college and I definitely think there needs a better defining of class divisions at HoCo.
