Heard from a reliable source Surge tried to move into the AA but the powers that be shot them down. They were clearly the favorite.

Some took exception to the last comment about being in over their heads but as a group BTB 2028’s were a combined 1-5-1 and were outscored 60-17. Igloo AA was 0-3. Frost did well though at 2-1.

They’re a competitive team when they play in tournaments. I feel bad for their second team. I hope they don’t get too discouraged

All I know of my son played defense for a team that only ran zone defense I would pull him asap. Zone is fine to learn and use here and there but you really don’t learn how to play the sport (or any other sport) for that matter by doing so. It’s 6th grade lacrosse - you should want your child to learn how to play good proper defense with slides, checks doubles etc. Poor coaching and even worse developmentally.

I think we learned with the 6-4 finals rebels vs, and rebels beating down legacy in game 2 that rebels better than we thought as well.
