Watch your tape coach; hit was far from dirty and wasn’t even to the head. Horrible clear by the goalie which lead the kid into the hit.

Biggest difference between Hawks and Crabs - Hawks Defense is Big and Slow, Crabs Defense is Big, Athletic and Fast. Crabs were more physical as well on both offense and defense. Great game to watch.

Not a coach. I'm a 27 True dad with no rooting interest. You're foolng yourself if you think that was clean

Watch the video. Never came close to his head and literally backed into him. Soft penalty called by the ref 30 yards away and not by the one 5 ft away.

I don't have access to the video. I didn't say he hit him in the head, he had a good 5+ yard run at a defenseless player looking back for a pass which never made it to him. Not a clean hit.

ML over FCA - 13-6. FCA not in correct league.
DCE over 91 15- 3. DCE looking to take revenge after last week.
FCA held the lead from the very first goal. 8-7 FCA.

Are there any ML players looking for a new team?

Yup, not just the losses but the low class and toxic environment. DCE and VLC will be the good HS teams for this class.

Hawks kids will be leaving as well. Especially the ones not going to Spaulding. Winning covered up alot but now....

Hawks players aren’t going anywhere. Let’s not forget that they won HoCo every other year. It took Crabs bringing in their 2025 Stealth buddies to beat Hawks. Why don’t they play again with real rosters and let’s see how things go then.

How are those PA boys working out?🤔

We played against the loonies. The parents and the kids were nothing but class the way they behaved. Some of the adults who are mocking them on this forum could take a lesson from that. There is more to life than 8th grade lacrosse, and the kids know that they may not be at elite anymore but they were out there playing their butts off, competing, and we'll do very well when they get to high school. No one really cares at this point which 8th grade team has the most D1 prospects. But I will say that it is nice to think about which kids your children will be going to school with in both high school and college, and the way they behaved was exemplary.

Thank you from a Looney's parent.

Hawks Dads can complain about the Crabs' stacked team if you like, but don't forget that the Hawks had merely one goal wins over VLC, MadLax (who has fallen so far they cannot beat FCA) and True. Up to this year, the Hawks would roll over those three teams with ease, and the bald Dads would strut the sideline taunting the other teams, but not anymore. Plus, the Hawks are 50/50 at best to beat DCE this weekend. And they are far less competitive on the national level. Not the Hawks of a year ago.

Whether the PP was from a Looney's parent or not, all of the dumping on Looneys says more about the dumpers than it says about the team itself.

I think that holds true beyond the Looney’s dumpers. This team had a lot of talent a year ago and still does but the commitment from those running the club is not there. For that reason most of the team will be departing by summer.

Are 2026 teams having tryouts this summer, or are they only doing invites now that kids are moving to HS?

What happened to this team? They went from winning the Fall League to falling apart a year later.

I would characterize this as a decline of the team's level of play based on player and coaching changes since that winning season.

In the Spring 2021 season, Looney's 2026 went from winning Fall HoCo 2026 Elite to having a losing season. Of note is the fact that most games were very close. Did Looney's get worse, or did the other teams get better? Perhaps it was a bit of both. Obviously, the other teams improved more than Looney's did.

Coincident with the start of this decline was a change in club leadership and the 2026 team's head coach.

At the end of last Spring's losing HoCo season, several skilled players left for other teams, one of which is now leading the Elite division.

Rosters change, coaches change. A few more games to play in HoCo and they will be off to high school and likely to other clubs, as it doesn't look like Looney's will be around much longer.

I havent either which someone is trolling. I talk with Coach on a daily basis and he's happy coaching both of his sons. He wont be able to do that in high school. And I'll keep my kid with Coach and his staff regardless of where he would ever go if he left Hawks

Rages inability with a shot clock is very obvious. Talented players left for Crabs and DCE. Stall ball does not work. Lack of player development is clear. Crabs players are just better.

Friday night has tons of playoff implications. Crabs and Hawks are locked up at 1 & 2. If True beats DCE Friday night then True, VLC, and DCE are all tied at 3-3 and DCE will have then lost to both True and VLC. Saturday VLC plays 91, and True plays FCA. DCE would need to beat the Hawks and hope that VLC or True loses on Saturday.

My playoff predictions......
1-Crabs
2-Hawks
3- True
4- VLC

Lots of different scenarios could play out but DCE has the most challenging path to the playoffs without a doubt. Only 4 teams will be in playoffs and they will most likely be Crabs, Hawks, True, VLC.

Exceptional logic. We all know this always works like this. So True beats DCE by 10 goals. Got it.

If DCE wants to get to the finals to avenge the one goal loss against the Crabs then they need to beat True then the Hawks twice in a row. It’s a tall order but could be very exciting!

DCE Dads are so funny - you blamed the VLC loss on a rash of injuries (fogo, attack, d-pole?) but now you are talking about beating True, Hawks, and Crabs. Have these players all recovered? or was the injury excuse a bit of baloney?

Only way DCE gets in is if they beat True and VLC loses to 91. VLC in if they beat 91, True in if they beat DCE and DCE loses to Hawks.

No, If DCE beats True, they are in, even if VLC beats 91 and DCE loses to Hawks. VLC and DCE would have 4-3 records, and True would be 3-4 at best.

And, if DCE loses to True but beats the Hawks, they are out of luck. (assuming VLC beats 91) VLC, True, and DCE would all finish 4-3, and True would have the tiebreaker over both, and VLC would have it over DCE.

Bottom line - Crabs and Hawks are in; VLC is in if they beat 91, and the True vs. DCE game will decide the last playoff spot.

They look much weaker than last year, while Top Caliber and Next Level look much better than last year.

Okay SC

Okay SC

They do have the 3 seed locked up in AAAA. And can get to the 2 seed if TopCaliber loses this weekend and Looneys wins.

True and DCE can both make playoffs if True beats DCE, True beats FCA, DCE beats Hawks, and VLC loses to 91.
