Except that they take kids from several other towns. 100% Majority of those kids are not from Farmingdale. that's worse than having 6th graders play

Let’s go 98% are from Farmingdale. We just have a bunch of shiney MDLax from every club team because the kids from the Dale can play with whoever you put them out there with unlike some of your boys

Making your kid a highlight reel and posting it on YouTube doesn’t make him a superstar.

You beat to a town team that had to use 6th grade kids just to fill a roster. Farmingdale is not exactly a powerhouse....

Actually the entire team roster is farmingdale with the exception of I think one kid. They have used a fill in goalie here and there from elsewhere if they were short, otherwise all Farmingdale.

I think what everyone is referring to is the Farmingdale team that played at the tournament at Hecksher. More than just the goalie was not from Farmingdale.

Nobody cares about 8th grade PAL scores Agree. PAL at this stage doesn't really mean anything. A number of towns started breaking away from PAL a couple years ago because of the travel scene. Some very good town teams aren't fielding PAL teams at this age because of the commitment to club and/or high school. That's why there's 7/8 grade divisions and also why you'll see other kids playing for other towns (bc they don't have a local PAL team anymore). I dont know that I've seen anyone care about PAL scores in the past... let alone in 8th grade.

I actually have no problem with kids who play 8th grade PAL. 8th grade PAL is great for kids who want to maybe keep playing more than their middle school has to offer. The more serious kids will have commitments to JV or travel. I just think no one cares what the scores were to 8th grade PAL games.

Definitely a joke comment. 2 town teams, 3 "B" teams, Legacy (who doesn't know what they are), and a 2027 team which should easily win that tournament. Cant say stacked when the favorite to win is a 2027 team.

Not sure how much you know about lacrosse about lacrosse but Ward Melville and Cold Spring Harbor are powerhouse programs. You have BBL, Machine who is the best 2027 team in the country, and Legacy Eels. Not to mention other successful club programs. The poster who said stacked for a local tournament wasn’t wrong. More than likely Machine doesn’t walk away with this one.

There’s only one AA team on all of Long Island anyway. It’s a local tournament and a nice spring one to be in. Good test playing up that’s for sure.
