CVHS goalie is #5 in the country which is obviously elite, but also not "the best in the country."

As for the D.......nobody at CVHS is even in the top 10 in Baltimore County, let alone the country. Please demonstrate how anybody over there is better than AJ Marsh, AJ Larkin, Malachi Jones, etc. All out of Baltimore County.

What makes him the best goalie is the 2 FO guys on SJC. They never have to play defense. Give credit where credit is due; the X is what makes that team tough to beat.

McDonough has a problem at the dot and until they get that fixed they’re going to struggle to win games. Possession ins everything and tonight it cost them being up 7-4 in the 4th.

You watch the game? Goalie was lights out and the foggo was not his dominant self.

Prep over St Albans 15-9

Landon over SSSAS 12-8

My point was the FO is the star on that team when the team has the ball on offense 75% plus of the time. Goalie is an afterthought.

St. John’s is great all over the field. FO - Wing play - Attack - Defenders, DM and Goalie. The attack rides so hard the other team thinks it’s a 10 man. They also clear at a high percentage. Complete team. Watched several games and don’t think they played their best today. Should have scored 15-16.

If you watch and don’t come away very impressed you are simply not seeing the game or hating.

St. Mary’s still adding pages to the book? Should be a few new chapters this year.

McDonogh has a problem on the sideline, their coaching staff. I hope the bus left them behind. No discipline on the team. Millon shots are all over the place. His shooting percentage can’t be more then 10%.

STM fans sound foolish talking about scrimmage scores on social media. Go talk to your coach. Maybe he will pick up the phone when he is called to schedule real games.

St Johns is your 2022 Natty Champs! I have no dog on their team but they have kicked all comers in the teeth this year & they are one of the best teams any coach has put together in the past 10 years including all of Kellys 3 peat teams. Good job Plank! You did what you said you would. The MIAA could put together an all star team and still lose by 3 to SJC this year. SJC beat BL, CHC & would smoke St Marys but the Saints pad their schedule with public schools that take them to OT & wouldn’t dare schedule a real out of conference team like SJC. You’re the best team hands down. Enjoy it you earned it!

Have seen their alumni on MIAA Facebook page, IG and on Ty Xanders Twitter page talking about some scrimmage at Gilman that they won by a goal the last few weeks. Trying to pick up points off of St. John’s success. Everyone knows teams rotate players in scrimmages. At least most do. I guess if you want to win the scrimmage championship you don’t. Must be an MIAA thing.

St. John’s would beat St. Mary’s by 5-6 goals. They would be lucky to score more than 6 goals. Open your eyes.

St. Marys beat SJC by 1 in a scrimmage this year.

St. Anthony’s has avg 15 goals a game this year. St. John’s held them to 5. Couple goals were scored when St. John’s was man down. How good is this defensive unit?
St. Anthony’s defense was holding teams to an avg of 7 goals, St. John’s scores 11. How good is the offensive unit?

This game was a 1 vs 2 in the country.

With two more conference games leading to the IAC tournament, Bullis is undefeated in conference play and Prep (Landon) and Landon (St Albans) with one loss each. That said, Prep still the front runner. Should be great end to season and exciting tournament for the DC area qtr zips.

Wow - this post didn't age well. JC only scored one gial while LB's starters were playing. That was an absolute beat down!

He has always been a low percentage shooter. Over confidence leads him to take poor shots or turn the ball over. I’m not sure if his scoring even offsets the fast break opportunities he creates for the opposition, but his highlights look great! He had a ton of talent for sure, but he needs coaching that he will listen to. Daddy and AS are not helping him on the field at this point and should step aside.

I was there and watched Loyola blow JC out 11-3. It was 11-1 when LB's backups went into the game. Ouch for JC fans. Very quiet on their side. Makes one wonder what's wrong at CHC to lose to those guys.

Nationally everyone wants to see St. John’s play Brunswick at some point this season. Would be a great game by two National Lacrosse powers. Seems odd that they aren’t wanting a STM vs Brunswick game.

Then again maybe the call was made to STM coach and he didn’t answer the call. Maybe their alumni on Twitter and Facebook should reach out to coach and ask him to answer the phone when real competition calls. I think coach is saving the school from being embarrassed.

I don’t ever recall MIAA fans having a good year worry so much about the WCAC. Congrats on your season SJC. Stop worrying about other people’s schedules and focus on Good Counsel.
