ST John’s …same religion, different conference would be the first call. You lost to John Carrol and your kid watched from the sideline. That’s the most embarrassing loss in CH history and that loss made it even harder to get recruited from that 50 man pine bench. Suckers!

Certifications don’t equal culture, traditions, respect, going back to school in person way before public schools, pride & teachers who are not union shop looking at the clock to see when they can bolt. ON top of it those MIAA schools turn out some pretty smart kids thanks to some great teachers and lack of multiple disciplinary issues that occur everyday in publics. Thanks for allowing me to free up a spot for your kid all while paying taxes for your kid, for my kid who does not use the spot & my kids tuition. Yes I made that decision and am glad I did, but just wanted to go through the math so we are straight. You are welcome.

Welcome to the MIAA where benches are deep but playing time is scarce. CH is notorious for this kind of mentality; over-recruit to fill seats in the classroom knowing full well 75% of those kids will never see the field of a varsity team. Now here’s the next question; how many phone calls are being made to out of state players to be brought in next year? Desperate times call for desperate measures; only 1 more year to win that title for the 2023 class which includes coaches family.

Maybe they can sublet space in the BL dorms built for 30+ boarders and has fewer than 10 occupied.

Add King Crab and the BL crew to the list making out of state calls. BL needs the out of staters to fill the "International Boarding School". holdbacks are not enough anymore. They need out of towners and Canadiens
if they can get them. Local alumni consider other options for your sons....

Plus the holdbacks would have to get their GEDs instead of diplomas because they are too old for public schools.

Boys Latin and McDonough already built their housing. Calvert Hall has lots of low income housing right across the street - perhaps the alum could use some of that hospital money to buy those apartments and bring in the out of state and Canadian talent. Can't let Culver and IMG have all the fun.

Curley is a very good MIAA team.

Anyone gets a diploma in public school. The private school kids were all held back because the public schools didn’t do their job to prepare them for the rigors of a real school and ultimately college.

SP would be on the John Carrol/MSJ tier if they were in the MIAA. Congrats you took the Saints to OT, but an L is an L, now go back to free school and playing your cupcake schedule.
