In B division. There is M&D red that is clearly not in the right division. They are winning by 11+ average per game (actual GD of 78 over 7 games). Yes it’s the first year for the 26 red team, but it is almost entirely made up of A level players from last years M&D, Hero’s White, and other A level teams. Hero’s white should have been in B bracket after losing essentially the whole team from last year. There is too much of a gap among the B teams that the stronger B teams aren’t getting to play other strong teams. Better to play harder teams and lose them to always win by double digits. They could have made 3 A level groups and just 2 B levels. Robinson could have made different level groups for the teams, maybe take the models how the boys do theirs.. Elite, AAA,AA and so on. However that would require thinking and work and Robinson would rather do easy then hard. He sold out and doesn’t care. The M and D program doesn’t even have a tryout date OR summer practices on the schedule. So he sold out and you can tell by the lack care for the club.

They could have made 3 A level groups and just 2 B levels. I have watched this team play a few weeks in a row. I would say M&D Red has 5 Or 6 A players the rest B and C players and the goalies well that’s another problem for the team. Playing easy teams isn’t helping them get better. The lower players and goalies will not be able to play against harder teams and then frustration sets in and we all know it goes down hill. I do agree about redoing the brackets and having different divisions. Then again Robinson sold out so he really doesn’t care but maybe 3Step will do something about this in the future. I agree with everything you are saying, however for this age group it doesn’t matter anymore. This is their last NGLL season and it’s just tournaments for them going forward.

Oh no, Integrity. Better get it together before the big game next weekend- may want to pull up that 27 goalie for help TLC gave Integrity a fight with only 2 subs. Integrity had 13 girls on the sideline…..hopefully TLC gets more girls at tryouts- great potential!

Could be 3 2 loss teams battling for 2 playoff spots from the South. Will be interesting. Did the Pride-HW game end at half due to weather yesterday? Playoffs could come down to division goals against, so Pride only playing a 23 minute official game yesterday could be a big advantage.

A scrimmage to allow girls to compete and improve would be welcome for sure. Leave the parents locked out so they don’t create a circus would be ideal. Lots of mnd teams have 2 very good teams that practice together some.

If Integrity loses to Pride they will fall behind them if it is GA. Their only hope would be a high scoring M&D Stars game. Unless tie breaker isn’t GA first.

Here are the tiebreakers for NGLL.
1. [(#Wins + 0.5*#Ties)/(#Wins + #Losses + #Ties)]
2. Head to Head Competition (if there is a three way tie in head to head competition, that tiebreaker is thrown out). 3. Goals allowed against in-division opponents 4. Goals differential against in-division opponents (maximum score difference of 10 per game) 5. Goals allowed against all opponents 6. Goals differential against all opponents (maximum score difference of 10 per game) 7. 23 minute tie break game on the first day of the playoffs.

In #2 in a 3 way tie if one team is 2-0 one is 1-1 and other 0-2 against each other is that considered head to head or is #2 skipped if three way tie?

In your scenario I read it as the 2-0 team would advance. #2 is thrown out if the three teams go 1-1 against each other.

It's time to give this argument a rest, especially since it was started by a troll not affiliated with the club.
That being said, it looks like Red will get to prove itself at Live Love Lax versus Stars Light Blue and HoCo Black.

If the last two flops were any indicator, the new coach and LBC additions are more harm than good. Three top teams in playoffs will be Pride, MND, Stars. They are by far more skilled teams. Although a clean rematch would be nice vs integrity, don’t think it’s in their cards
