Any of the top 4/5 IAAM A teams can beat another on a given day. SPSG played incredibly well yesterday and is better coached. McD did not play well and was not coached well. That's it. Congratulations to SPSG for a great win yesterday at the halfway mark of the season. Valley Inn was the real winner!

So you win the game and this is the complaint? SPSG parents proving once again they are the whiniest parents in the game.

It's sad that articles can only focus on one player and their accomplishment - especially since that players team lost the game. Why is it so difficult to acknowledge other players and THEIR accomplishments. WHY are more people NOT bothered by this???

Why are more people not bothered? Maybe because that kind of stuff doesn’t bother our kids, maybe they don’t need to see their name in the paper or need to pad their stats before they become a team player. For most players, I can promise you the parents care a heck of a lot more than they do. You will enjoy watching your daughter play a lot more if you’re not worried about the article that’s going to be written hours later.

Ouch... sour grapes much? We get it, you want your daughter mentioned in a newspaper article (plus add where she is committed to). Sheesh, SPSG (the team) played a great game, obviously that isn't enough for you. You need more "look at what sprung from my LOINS material" when you talk to your BFFs at the Valley Inn after your Pickleball Matches ! Come On !?

With the way things are going in the NCAA - that "useless" award may help her cash in on more opportunities from her NIL

this was their 3rd game this week, they lost one of their draw girls for the season on Wed and they lost their starting goalie in the 2nd half last night. I think they did what a top 10 team does when they don't have their best playing...they find a way to win.

Severna Park is ranked #8 and GCS #6 in the last Baltimore Sun poll. 1 goal game either way should not be shocking

I am not a gcs parent and didn’t think they were making excuses at all. Also isn’t a win a win? Didn’t realize these games have point spreads now.

Severna Park boys also lost by to nationally ranked St Mary’s team. Lots of cry by parents on the boys side. I think there are few former GCS Boys that play for St Mary’s now lol
