Let's be real the only reason looneys was a contender was because of their defense. Add goalie and attackman along with Defense. Not good enough to compete with the 2025 Looney's goalie where he belongs and now stuck in AAAA. Something about reaping what you sow. Have fun this year. Who hurt you. Point to on the doll where looneys got you. What are you going to reap for trying to trash talk an 8th grade kid. Have fun this year and in your miserable life. Totally agree. As the Dad of a 2026 attackman who has gone nuts trying to score on the Looneys 2026 goalie, I can attest that he is a great player. Anybody who trash talks about a specific player on this board should take a deep breath and look in the mirror. #AAAA ...LOL. And that young man is on academic scholarship to Loyola, plays for a national team as well and will be playing D1 after HS. Whereas, your kid rides the bench and is a lost just like his father...

How miserable is your life to continue to trash kids? Does your life stink that bad that this makes you feel better? Get over it already. How about you sign your name to your post? #beaman
Looneys is in AAAA. It’s no fault but their own. The kids will work hard and be ready for tournament season. How quickly people forget past trash talk directed at kids, some people don't. It's no fun when the rabbit's got the gun. Enjoy your spring. Sign your name. KARMA

And you justify it by referencing other losers trash talking kids. You are sad and pathetic. Guaranteed you live a miserable life.

Please leave the Looneys quarter zip parents alone! They are going through a hard time right now and could use some uplifting and support from the lacrosse community!!!!

Any truth to the roster waivers being allowed. Heard someone say that kids from the teams that did not make elite have the opportunity to switch to a new club before Saturday with no penalty.
Before the normal summer movement. Some are looking at FCA, DCE, ML, True

Fake News: Rosters are locked.
Makes no sense to open them up, HOCO can’t even put a schedule out on time and you think that they can process last minute roster changes? No chance.

Before the normal summer movement. Some are looking at FCA, DCE, ML, True Heard a kid from FCA is already on DCE roster. There are 0 FCA kids on DCE Hoco roster. The kid’s name is most likely on whatever platform they use (TeamSnap, GroupMe, etc) for summer tournaments. Kids will jump teams in the summer because they think the new team will be better than the one they have been playing with. There is no loyalty in this sport.

Before the normal summer movement. Some are looking at FCA, DCE, ML, True The Dads of the players who are numbers 16-24 on the rosters of those four teams should be calling the projected top half of the AAAA division (NextLevel, Looneys, Wolfpack, Top Caliber) and trying to get on THEIR rosters. But of course they won't.

Wondering where is the animosity toward Looneys coming from. My son's team has played against them the past several years, and the kids and parents seem like a perfectly nice group.
Is it from opposing teams who have seed a darker side than I have, or former Looneys families who had a bad experience with the program?

Always a good idea to read the rules - any player can change teams, just have to follow the rules:
CONFERENCE APPLICATION & ROSTERS Rosters will be submitted via the Sports Engine website.
Each player's full name, date of birth, grade, parent’s cell number and jersey number must appear on this form (these fields are required when filling out form). Incomplete rosters will not be accepted. Please note
Each parent of Community Sport Organization and Independent Club entered teams is to accept HCRP waiver via the web or however stated by the Conference. Coaches must ensure each player has agreed to terms to the waiver, and also have that team approved by the Conference Manager before a player/team can participate in a conference game.
Failure to turn in a roster and waiver before the first game will result in forfeiture of every game until they are on file with the Conference. Referees will not be assigned to any game in which a team does not have a roster and waivers on file with the Conference.
Any additions or deletions must be put in writing and submitted to the Conference Manager before the player is eligible to play. Additions must include all information and waiver forms required with the original roster submittal. No player may be added after the fourth game of the season.
Players released require approval from the “Conference” before signing on with another team. The team shall officially release a player in writing on the “release player” form before the “Conference” can consider approval for another team. Players may only play for one team in this conference. Any player on more then one roster will result in the forfeiture of all games scheduled for both teams and the removal of the player from the conference. Each coach should check with the player’s parents to ensure that the player is only on one roster.

Disagree. There is loyalty when there is solid coaching and a positive team environment. Glad my kid has that. Our coach is about investing in the kids we have and developing them to be the best players they can be. Not just dropping and adding kids to the roster. Good luck with that.

I feel the same way about my son’s coach. Good guy, not a parent. Genuinely cares about the boys and their development, on and off the field. I feel for the Looneys team, but if you are jumping ship just because you moved down to AAAA, it’s all about ego, in which case grow up and let your kid have a successful last season in the HoCo league.

Who else thinks the looneys goalie is better than the hawks goalie? detest to disagree but the Hawks goalie is the best at the 26 level. Also Looneys - great kids, great coach, great families but poorly organized and not as committed as other clubs. Ultimately it shows with no teams behind the 2026s feeding into the high schools; this will be the demise of the club after this summer.
