So u guys here about this upcoming matchup between the dingers and collegiate school (Richmond VA) Collegiate a predominant program in the state of Virginia they have a UVA, Nova Loyola and HSC commits. Coached by for Gilman Greyhound Legend Andrew Stanley, as well as former all-american and grad of collegiate Michael Jarvis. Think it will be a good matchup? Anyone have a live stream link? Funny side: They used to be coached by Booker Corrigan smile

Baltimore teams try but don’t really care about OOC games. It’s all a tuneup. The conference games are all that really matter.
Are you serious? Or does this rule only count when they lose? Cause dads certainly get chapped over rankings.

Meh - outside of St. John's, no other team from the IAC or WCAC has been that impressive against the MIAA this year in actual games:

Landon: 1-1
Prep: 0-1
Gonzaga: 1-0
DM: 0-1
SSSA: 1-0

FYI Gonzaga lost to StP 11-6 on March 1st.

So, you think losses to St Johns, Gonzaga don’t matter, huh? Guess the players, fans and coaches don’t mind watching their national championship aspirations go into free fall losing to the lesser WCAC and IAC in DC. Yeah, right. Overrated….

Lots of Baltimore MIAA soul searching today, as DC & Annapolis squads are clearly better.

It's a down year for MIAA. We all know it. This is one of weakest senior classes across the board in recent memory.

DC’s top end is clearly better this year, but the IAC and WCAC combined aren’t as deep as the MIAA.

Also not sure how you figure Annapolis > Baltimore considering there haven’t been any matchups this year.

They're including St. Mary's and Spalding with DC schools in the discussion vs Baltimore based MIAA schools. This is not a state secret. All you need to do is look at the national all star play for the past three years for the 2022 class. DC (many Annapolis kids play high school and/or try out for UA there) national tournament all star teams have beaten the Baltimore teams consistently.

Why would anyone talk about Spaulding in their forum? Irrelevant to those teams.

Not only this year. The reputation the league has is based on past successes.

Why do they need to start their own forum? It’s called the mid Maryland forum and those divisions fall under that category. Good competition within the state is a good thing.

Lets look at the best starting in MIAA and we can see the problems with the 2022 class. Not elite as a whole. There are no middies or attack but 3. Defense good, offense bad.

Goalie: KM (Gilman), UVA;
Close D: BD (Loyola), Syracuse; JK (CHC), Cornell; MJ (McD) UVA; AR (ABS) Penn State
LSM: JC (McD) OSU; AJL (Loyola) Maryland
FO: __________ (??)
Middie: Weishar (ABS) Towson; & ________ (??) & __________ (??)
Attack: TS (CHC) UVA; DP (BL) UNC; & _________(??)

Which recent memory is that? Past successes? What does that even mean? 2022 Class is by far the most exciting recruitiong class in over a decade. Did you not watch the MIAA championship last year, semi final games or the final game? The reputation of the league stands on its year in and out multiple teams consistently ranked in the top 20. Top Miaa teams also play the other top 20 teams out of conference year after year.YEAR AFTER YEAR.not just one or 2 good seasons (SJC).SJC is a prime example of just how good the 2022 class is and how the 2022 class has a direct affect on the 2023's.

Not even the top players in league at their positions but all are good players. Your just looking at the schools they are going to.

No, actually these are the best at their positions in the MIAA (2022). There are not many great seniors this year for certain. The list will be even shorter next year.

There are a bunch of standout seniors. But overall, MIAA 2022s are not nearly as talented as most recent classes and it shows.

What rock are you living under?? Just because there may not be one really really dominant team does not mean anything. This field of teams is deep with talent. There are going to be very exciting games. The growth of the sport nationally is mirrored locally in the MIAA. Competition to make the playoffs will be intense.
