Must be nice to control the brackets . Welcome to the team 91 world series . Machine gets to sleep in and take.it easy with 3 afternoon games and no 3 hour gaps in between games . Wow Does it really matter? If your team is good and has good coaching it's motivation. If not it's excuses for why we lost or why we didn't play etc. The best teams will be in the top 8. regardless of where they start or what time. Afternoon games stink. Too much nervous energy expended waiting to play. How about this. Shut up and enjoy the time with your son and the other parents. Make it a positive experience and tell the kids to go play. Stop complaining and making problems. The sun comes up and the sun goes down. Games are played in between! Thanks 91 Dad! Of course it matters if you get to sleep in and only have to be at the field for 4 hours but some other teams have to be there 8 hours. Legacy has 7:35min between their first game at 8:30am and last at 4:05pm. There are 18 teams so 9 games can happen at a given time but they are only using 3 fields?

If Machine coaches were such tough guys back in the day, maybe they should teach some toughness to their players and not look for the easy road brackets all the time.

In every sport, the playoff system always pairs top seeds with lower seeds. Why are so many people upset about Machine playing lower level teams? That's how playoffs work. Would it be fair for the top teams to be beating the heck out of each other, to allow weaker teams to sneak through? Of course not.

Re: Team mass... it isn't really a mash-up team. They formed the team a year ago specifically to participate in the WSYL and have been practicing together since then, and they played together in several tournaments. It just so happens that a bunch of their kids also play for laxachusetts. It's like Team PA from last year - most of their kids play for other clubs too.

World Series of Youth Lacrosse out with a interesting statement on instagram Very interesting. That is the original world series owner . Basically saying that they know what a disaster it has now become and that is has no affiliation with the current world series and anyone running it . Amazing .

Wonder if the brainless fools running the world series will postpone it or let them play through the monsoon that's coming this weekend . I'm guessing they will let them play since everything they have done has been a disaster so far

Yeah no more involvement. That’s why the past owners are suing the new owners for trademark infringement. Regardless of their post on Instagram, they showed their true colors when filing that suit.

It's called business , thats what happens when former lacrosse players try to be smart . They find out really quickly how the real world works .

Who keeps talking Rebels- they are going 0-3. 91 - 2 teams, Express, ShoretoShore, Legacy and Igloo all have better teams. Rebels have never beaten ANYONE- so stop talking about them already.

Not the same, it's a totally different event. The current ownership group is trying to capitalize on the previous events name.

Not sure why they decided to have the North Region play first, and the West Region (which plays in AZ) play in late April. Should have started in the South (GA) and West (AZ), and ended up with the North playing in April. Weird decision.

As soon as people found out that us club lax was now running it they knew it would me made worse . And it has fat exceeded that expectation. It's being run horrible with brainless fools running it . Our kids could run it better

They didn’t even make the playoff round at NLF last year because they got paired in a bracket with a good team from Colorado who they didn’t think could beat them.

so to sum it up:
91 Machine gets favorable time slots. plays the 2 worst teams in the tournament. plays all 3 games in a covered dome out of the monsoon like weather. all their games will live streamed.
yeah, that's fair. Can't imagine anyone seeing the favoritism there.

Wait , you call yourself an " elite team" and have said that you " play up" but then cry after you get beat by a team with one holdback on it . Yeah that makes sense . Only the brainless at 91 could brag that they play up then complain about one holdback . Amazing . It's called a " reality check" when you cant beat a team . Stop with the lame excuses

Okay 91 ruined WS. Maybe look at the past fools that ran the tourney the last seven years and decided they were making enough profit so they pulled the plug screwing the kids. Regardless who is running the event now, at least there’s an event. But mindless stunands like this guy’s post is mostly negative propaganda about lacrosse in general. Must be watching too much CNN or FOX news within the coverage of the current debacle in Europe!

And it does matter who is running the event . It was known as a great, organized , unforgettable experience for the kids that have gone in the past. Now it's just a money grab tournament that is poorly run and will never be the same experience as kids had in the past. There have been kids that have literally dropped off of the world series team willingly as it has become a bad joke

World series used to be an unbiased enjoyable event . Let's see what 91 did ....expanded the rosters to 30 so they can take in more money but less kids play , moved it to jersey from Delaware squeezing 18 teams on 4 fields and about to play in monsoon....and is live streaming their own team ...hahaha ...yes 91 you are a true hero
