To many club teams on Long Island. Every club should join one of the following:

91
Legacy
Express
Rebels

On what basis Rebels over Igloo?

Rebels marketing director is busy on every age board on this site.

Igloo at this age is not what it was years ago

They are just the hottest club at the younger ages, they have great marketing and seem like great people. Kids leaving traditional clubs to go there.

I think the top kids going to be consolidated between 91 and Rebels as years go on. Just one mans opinion.

Express losing its luster

Agreed, Rebels isn’t what it used to be either though.

Club had the expansion age and now going into consolidation period. In 3 Years the top and only relevant clubs will be. Top 3 by far will be express 91 Rebels(no order), that is TBA. Then 2nd tier hanging on will be leadcasee and the Eskimo’s, and maybe feeling blue. S2S Flg Recon turtles will probably not survive. Recon best chance.

Talk is cheap. Show me head to head results.

Enough with the Rebels talk just look at tourney machine of recents games played . Great marketing and sales but the outcome on the field hasn’t showed any improvement.

Gap from 91 to Express has tightened. Gap between Express and Rebels has widened.

In the past three years have the rebels ever beaten express, 91 or legacy?

I think poster was talking about the overall club NOT the team. Couldn’t tell you if they have.

The last time they faced each other (Nov) was a highly competitive game but why worry yourself with facts.

You use some big words there Miss civilized well spoken adult. Most of the negativity has come from a group of entitled parents that left and felt the grass would be greener elsewhere. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out wherever they went so they still use this forum to take their shots. Their thinly veiled attempt to keep this going is extremely petty, please move on, everyone else has.

Yes surge used venom goalie all day cause surge only has one goalie and he had covid.
BTB is a great pick up team. Every week the players have different travel helmets. But very well coached!!!!!

Because he does not get that much run with venom. He works out with both teams and gets more run as a mid with surge. But that will end come spring. They probably will have too many conflicts

You can say that about a lot of teams! If they shorten the bench then they would be more competitive. That’s just a really dense statement

S2S is better because they just added 10 kids from mooselax and one kid should be on the 2027 team! That’s how they improved. Joke

Heard The turtles will be coming out of 6-month hyphenation.
Sounds like kids are transforming and have Cheetah Feet.
The sprint is on to other clubs. Think this is last summer for Turtles

A lot of tough talk and misinformation on this thread today. Something must be heating up

Rebels banter whether pro rebels or anti rebels is on every grade level on this website. I’m sure some is from experience, some is from just wanting to stir the pot and some has to be by company guys.

Those teams will survive they just probably won’t have the same roster

This is just my opinion:

Rush joins Legacy (Rush goalie is better then current Legacy goalies so kids will jump to other programs)

Turtles fold and most kids play at Rebels or BTB

Long Island needs 5 teams:

Igloo and Express (cover Nassau)
91 and Legacy (covers Suffolk)
1 Program to cover East End (Don't know any programs out there)

That’s a lot of kids left without teams lol unless the rosters for those 5 teams get very large

This is a Rush parent who kid is not good.

Does Rush or Rebels play tournaments outside NY? I ask because I do not recall in recent memory seeing them anywhere but Long Island. It’s not a knock just a question. Maybe we aren’t entering same tournaments.

Next Year top Three Will Be 91, Express, and Rebels -This will reverse in a Few years
Reasons
1) 91 Has name but is fading fast. Arrogant Directors that just do not realize all good things come to an end
2) Express always has always ran a quality program. MC is a straight shooter, Good Man
3) Rebels are the new way to run a program. Just ask anyone playing for them (will double teams next season)
4-6 N0 Order
Legacy Head guy is not an honest person. Kids are leaving by the day
Igloo- does not seem to care much, horrible communication
S2S - No clue how they even exist
The Days of Poaching, throwing out big names, and having Owners with other full-time jobs are gone
