Crabs go .500 in HOCO Spring. Which four teams beat them? Hawks - still more talented than any team at this year True - definitely talented and grabbing the hawks left overs in the area DC Express - all-star team made up of BLC, VLC and Next Level Looney's - no FOGO last year and added some talent from FCA and Breakers Crabs are overrated and weak in transition (midfield) defense and in goal. All they have is a FO kid and an attackman. They are bottom feeders this year; you heard it first!! Crabs defense is weak? Im no crabs nutswinger but this take makes your whole post invalid. They easily have the best D this year barring injuries. Looney's? ok......lol SO they picked up a few defenders and now they are the team to beat?? I am not buying into it. Hawks will own HOCO again and crabs will lose 2-3 games easily.

I don't believe they do, and in any event, a Mohican or two would not be able to carry that team against elite competition. I would be surprised if 91 comes within 6-8 goals of any of those teams.

A little to much if you ask me. 91 scrimmaged DCE and lost by a goal with missing some missing players, I do know that. Who cares anyway, let it all play out.

I hope they drop the division back to 8 teams. Hoco elite teams are as follows: Hawks Crabs DCE Madlax VLC FCA True Team 91 Looneys TRW 8 teams that way it would be nice if each team played twice but with 10 and 2-3 teams (TRW, T91, Looneys) not really giving it a run let the others play it out twice instead of having one of them not play one of the teams like ML didn't play HAWKS in the regular season.

I hope they drop the division back to 8 teams. Hoco elite teams are as follows: Hawks Crabs DCE Madlax VLC FCA True Team 91 Looneys TRW The minute they went to more than eight teams, they made HoCo an irrelevant Money Grab. Every team needs to play each other once before the playoffs. It’s now just a tune up for the summer.

I'd rather schedule a game a week vs elite teams in the rankings even if you have to travel. Hoco has totally become a money grab.

I don’t get the ‘money grab’ angle. Is there a difference in price for registering your team as elite vs AAA?
So HOCO should get the same money if there were 8 elite and 10 AAA or 10 elite and 8 AAA.

make it an 8 team division , 7 games, and everyone plays each other once. From above list definitely remove TRW and then you can remove one of the following teams (take your pick) Looneys, 91 or FCA....my pick...91

Stealth turns around a few weeks later and beats LI Express Chaney 8-4? What are you smoking or are you just another sad troll dad who hates everything 91, even though the boys are there families are good people? Tell your son to hit the wall fruitcake.

TRW should not even be in the discussion.

Nobody wants to be the B division, which is why they created AAA, AA, etc. Looks like the time has come to create Elite 1, Elite 2, etc. so every team can be in elite!

I am pretty sure 10 teams will be in elite. HOCO has already set a precedent. Really they should combine elite and AAA and have two divisions with top two from each division going to playoffs.

It was not a special team assembled for that tournament It was the regular 91 team including the Texas kids minus a couple of kids who couldn’t be there.

So let's get this straight - you are saying that the same 91 team who played in HoCo last spring, lost by 1 to a Stealth team, who then beat Long Island express CoachC? that means either (a) Stealth had a different roster for the two games, (2) you are fibbing, and 91 had a different roster for their two games, or (3) 91 had the most miraculous improvement in lacrosse history. Because the 91 team that all readers of this Board witnessed last spring in HoCo does not belong on the field with LI express.
