Sure, but you are ignoring the upside: Sure they're comically old, but if they excel at college lacrosse then then can maybe make the PLL, where they can hope to earn about as much as the manager of a McDonalds.

Lacrosse players age is hidden like all the time. No one wants to talk about it in public.

Ages are hidden because holding your kid back is embarrassing. It means they can't compete on-age socially, academically or athletically.

Ty Xanders from inside lacrosse has been putting birth year and month on his top players list for a few years.

They're comically old partially because it doesn't matter if they take their $175K job at T Rowe (or their dad's law firm) at age 22 or 24.

I don't know why I should be surprised, but it's amazing how small people are on these forums. It's well documented that adults are ruining youth sports (and childhoods in general) and yet here people are embracing it through their anger, impotence, insecurity, and self-loathing.

The kids who do well in sports and life are the ones not tied to the stunads on this forum. Goodbye BOTC! It was entertaining at times, but mostly awful.

You need to do better, Ty. Its just the 5 star kids. Like 10-15 kids each class.

There's no 24 y/o earning $175k at TRowe.

Sounds like the Hawks will be new leader in holdbacks. How many 2027 Hawks moved down to 28?

That's converted to holdback bucks!

If they are younger kids who have been playing up for the past few seasons with the Hawks 27s, why call them holdbacks?

As much as I want this to be true, the holdback champ is Madlax with their Nov. 08 middie and other oldies. On page 209 of this forum I would hope a new topic would come up but the trolls got to have something to talk about.

Hawks 28 is probably older than Madlax 28. Yes this includes the teenager as I mean player for player.

NL might be older than both but not sure.

WSYL this/next year should be fun. This year for the 6th graders born before 9/1/2009 and next year for the kids on age.

Unless everyone all at once is conveniently busy that weekend and cues up the how pointless it is narrative etc,.

Hawks collapsed and they know it. Now they are bringing down -- and picking up -- multiple kids. Explains the chatter of the likely displaced heading elsewhere. That's always good for team morale.

This is the second year of the Hawks 28 dropping down multiple 27s.

So meet your 2022 28 Hawks AkA the 2020 27 squad.

Hopefully the 2028 goalie shows up in Spring. He was no where to be found in Fall. Heard they have a kid that will be trying out come July that is solid and can play in the fall. As for FO, yes they need one bad.

Well, the above (which is you just saying so) isn't true, but I'm going to wager that the truth isn't actually important to you.

Of all the 27s to hold back none were bonafide starters. All got PT but weren’t the top players. Guess that’s why they held back. Makes sense.

Heard four of the ‘27s dropped down, including the goalie. The 28 goalie was very good to begin with, maybe he went to the 29’s. Or maybe the ‘30s?? wink

NL red team looking good in winter field and box they actually beat the NL blue team and destroyed the 29's
but they might pick up an attackman from 91 and or the Bethesda attackman who was looking sharp they might drop him because his grades are so so they are tough at blc not good but tough I will give them that this kid gets dropped dhes going straight to NL red.

It is an extremely complicated and nuanced process so try to stick with me while I go all Rain Man on this, but . . . you start playing with the team a year younger than the one you'd been playing with.

Not accurate as to the range of birthdays. NL doesn’t have anyone like the Madlax kid that drives, but several players are older than Aug 09.

You either move a grade down or say you did. Then you can play that year.
