Allegedly the LSM too, goalie is a position that you can’t just throw kids into, but literally any kid on the team can do face offs, not as well as the venom kid, but no excuses for face off

Faceoff kid is playing so he gets more field time. Others may not like it but it’s good for the kid

Relax. All teams do this. They bring in a few A team players to bolster the B team roster when short kids. 91, express, Rebels, igloo ect…. All of these teams have been talked about on here doing this. Haven’t heard anything about legacy/rush, but maybe they just quiet about it if doing it at all. As long as it’s the same club, what’s the big deal? Gotta play a bunch of lacrosse at these tourneys and to be short kids is tough. Now, I’d be annoyed if my kid on the B team was getting minimal playing time and the A kid getting a ton. If that’s the case, time to move on. Plenty of teams out there. Haven’t heard any complaints from the actual teams doing it.

The things is was the amount of “they are 2 separate teams, you won’t see venom kids on surge” last week was total bs. Venom kids will play on surge, the end. Like the previous poster stated, if my kids lost time (paying a lot for 91) to an a team kid, I’d be pissed

Stand corrected. Although I do believe the reason for goalie was legit. Not sure why fo kid or others had to be there.

I guess a reason why it matters if kids from A teams join B teams in tournaments is that it skews the results of contests which then skews team rankings-not that that really matters--other than screwing up seedings and brackets for larger tournaments and grouping teams appropriately. Connecting a lot of dots here on a slow day.

Manhasset again proved today they are the best town team among the 28s ..they are the equivalent of a top AA team.

Just won a town tournament with ease. All players are on elite travel teams, have high upside on talent and extremely well coached.

NXT FO dad just popping in randomly. Sweet.

And nothing or no one on NXT is the best in the country.

Where do most of their kids play club?

Really, who says this. If your town team is that good you really need to come on here and brag about it.

Congrats to Manhasset. Credit where credit is due. I agree that they are the top town team certainly on LI. I'm from a rival town and have not seen any team better or deeper than them up to this point.

That’s why we have highly competitive guys and gals lax
HS teams year in year out and don’t need the all star teams of the private schools. We home grow and cultivate machines since the days of good old Jim Brown!

Garden City, West islip, and Port Washington as well

"Garden City, West islip, and Port Washington " Negative. These three may be competitive with each other but are not on the same level as Manhasset. Harborfields is probably better than each of those three teams mentioned as well.

Wrapping up fall ball. What happened to rush adrenaline, they used to be a contender. Rush Rebels turtles are all in that great B team poor A team rut.
Speaking of B teams I hope the kids that play for GSB team stayed with team they were on last year. Some were on A teams. Not sure what the allure was other than it being Conor Farrell.

Look up the results from last year. Maybe Manhasset improved significantly over the summer. But as of last spring, those three teams are very much on the same level. With that said, all are in the top tier and have pretty good depth.

GSB as a 2 month old team was not ready for A teams, they had good results vs b teams, having seen the team I’m guessing they’ll be one of the better b teams in the island.
