Even with the help from Venom, Surge couldn’t get over the hump. Does it sting much when Venom is brought in to finish the job and they still lose?

Nope. Not at all. Was a good day of competitive games. BTB should sign up for a tournament w Venom and see how that goes

Saw express north today. They won the Philly NXT tournament and have now beaten the #1, 4, 7, 17 and 21 ranked teams in the last 2 weeks (I heard they beat LI Express (#8) too but game didn’t count as it was a play day game). Not sure where they fit in but they looked like a top team. Our team (NXT) is pretty good but we didn’t move the ball well enough to play with them. We have some development to do but hey, 6th grade! North was clearly the class of the tournament and lived up to the post NAL hype.

the lone goalie surge has couldn't make it so they needed a goalie and asked one of the venom goalies. The other venom goalie was one of 3 goalies to play with btb. the last time these teams played i believe it was 6-4 btb. sounds like btb struggles a littel bit with a B team.

BTB started about a week ago. Seems beating a pretty good 91 team is a decent start.

This is their 3rd tournament, w kids from multiple other club teams. Nice try though. They won, great for them they deserved it. Why is it always about 91??

The only team worse than the FL crabs this weekend was igloo frost.

Over under in vegas is 4 1/2 on ex goalie now on Venon. That’s the line how many teams he will play on next 6 years.

I wish I was surprised. Any kid born 9/1/2009 or > is 2028 appropriate. Why would a parent want a 13y/o playing pall ball against 11 y/o. That other forum is bananas. Apparently this kid has caused some pretty serious injuries. MadLax sounds like a bit of a nightmare.

Not fair, he’s still a Smithtown kid with Smithtown friends on BTB and filled in when asked. Just like the Westhampton kid did for Surge. Come on…

Weren’t you all saying last week that no way venom kids would be playing on surge, they did, so we can stop claiming that surge won’t bring in venom kids when they need help vs superior competition
