S2S hawks is their A team. Turtles are an A team. Red Hawks are better and are now are in that same grouping of Express, 91, Legrush Red, those four all played each other in competitive games and probably all lose to or beat one another based on the day.

Fall Classic only had one AA Division. Turtles and S2S Played in B Divisions(neither are close to AA), so they are B teams.

PARITY! This is where the best coaching will show... Some of these "B" teams could compete, and in some cases, Beat some "A" teams

4 Leaf, 3D AA , Regulators and Rebels Chrome top teams at Tourney

S2S has some really good kids, added some kids that didn’t want to play on what they thought was a b team (igloo,legacy,91). Same w/ rebels and so on

Turtles good team. Their focus is to get better with practice. No interest in recruiting kids

Igloo / Legacy B have good teams. Issue was they had to put some new kids that tried out on the A or they would have went to rebels or s2s. Legacy had kids go back to Rush 2024. Hope is those parents will see over the practices where there kid belongs and understand he will be better off. These players “moonlight” in B because they are not getting runs with the A squad in games. This actually hurts the A team as kids are there all day on standby with 2 teams

The rest is simple. Take a good A player at a key position and play him on the B squad and team will be that much better. Icon does it with some 91 kids when they don’t have a tournament and the results show. Think Icon was winless this weekend and they have a good team just not enough

Regulators will be a top team this summer.

This is whole thing is nutty. How come it never works out that the top players from B teams never end up on a single team. Hypothetically If the top players from Igloo B, Legrush, 91, Rebels and Express formed a team, wouldn’t that be an A team?? I think so. But somehow the talent on the B level gets dispersed over several teams and on A teams it forms up. B teams used be very hard to make and were all good, now it’s year to year and lotsa of turnover. I guess saturation of the market sorta broke things maybe. But just my opinion, but worth a good discussion.

What I find amazing is how many losers on here being critical of 14 year old kids. Wow some of your seriously need a life. Best part is if your didn’t have to post anonymously you would all be quiet as a church mouse

A and B is overrated... If there is a good player out there, they will find him. This is a very small community. The end game should be practice & playing time. If your getting nothing out of practices or your kid is not on the field than A / B doesn't matter. But it sure makes for funny banter on this board.

Everyone should watch the kids on all these teams and follow their lead. The kids get it ( maybe a few dont but blame that on those around them). It's the parents that turn it into the circus. Let the kids play, develop and enjoy the game. Your useless screaming, sideline interventions and after-game critiques are doing nothing for them...

While I tend to agree with your statement about the parents I believe it's also the proliferation of A and B teams and overzealous owners. The price escalation for travel lacrosse is totally out of control. It wasn't too long ago that the upper tier of players only played travel year round. Now the programs have everyone convinced that if they haven't bought into the year round training they'll be at a disadvantage. Town and rec teams used to fill the gap for players want a little more than school ball. The three sport athlete is becoming rare yet travel clubs will tell you they love well rounded athletes. How could they possible have time AND continue to perform where it ultimately matter most, IN THE CLASSROOM.

Totally ageee with that statement. Well rounded but when my son plays a fall or winter sport in high school and doesn’t go to practice for his travel team the director tells me he really should be at practice. Guess what high school grades and teams come first

Since this is a LI forum what other team are you putting in the same category AA category as 91? Express closed the gap with great improvement but still not there. After that there is a tremendous gap. Forget the Fall results kids still played football, injuries etc. Not Igloo or Rebel bashing but they are not even close to top tier, never have been, lump them in with everyone else behind the top two.

Let’s just say that 2025 BBL, Express, 91, Express North, Eclipse and Prime Time can all compete with one another. Can a team beat another team by 5 or 8 goals, yes…but that same matchup can be a one goal game as well. The point is the talent level has no gap and in my opinion there is no head and shoulders team above one another, especially now that this is HS.

Rebels didn't beat Express 2x... beat once by 1 goal in a scrimmage with a lot of Express kids hurt. Only thing worse that your lies are the teams parents

It was a 3 team scrimmage. Hawks much improved and played their best game. Exp apparenlty had alot of kids out. No excuse. Next kid up...But I think there will be separation in Spring in tournament play. That Exp team had like 3 kids on the sidelines each time we saw them. Something was off

Hawks beat 91 easily. And what’s going on with the Hornets. They have a huge sideline.

Because they selectively pick match ups so parents can brag about the team. Team is good, no doubt. But probably need more depth now that it’s HS.

What are you talking about? They have played express, igloo, regulators, rebels, rush, legacy many times. who are they ducking? They lose games but its not to anyone on the island

91 lost to Rebels last spring in scrimmage 8-7. They did play 3 times since and beat them pretty good like 4/5 goals each time.

Are you really keeping score in a scrimmage? You must be a Mom. If not, shame on you.

They played very few LI teams in the last 6 month is all. They did beat them all, yes, but it would be cool to see these teams faceoff in the fall here instead of traveling out of state.

Rebels and Igloo seem to dominate the headlines on this forum. Rebels because the parents won't stop bragging and Igloo for all the wrong reasons. How about both of you just go away?

What are we talking about? A , B, both? I can tell you the self proclaimed Rebels "A" team has won 2 games, yes 2, in the past year. And a tie at their last tournament. Not sure that warrants bragging. The Rebels B team is improved with good coaches. Leave it at that. ForceGloo should change name to Scamgloo as thats what happened to the parents and the kids

Speaking of "ForceGloo", I wish Force still had teams.

Force was decent at this age. Both A and B. But these clubs always seem to fold, for one reason or another. And then you see some teams with 1 1/2 teams or teams with 35. My opinion as somebody who has been there, this HS now, so find a team with dedicated coaches and a normal roster and try to go there. These years of club lax are critical and a stable situation is key. Ask yourself if you’re on a half team or team with 35 kids how beneficial this will be showcased. It will likely be a waste.Not seeing playing time at this point means you should be doing a full re evaluation of things ASAP. Again imho.
