How many times a week is your son's 2027 team pacticing?

Since it's football season we're only practicing 3x per week

Ranking 12 year old teams?? Lol Some of you guys need to do something for yourself. Sign up for a race 5k half marathon etc. Step away from the keyboard. Pathetic

Good advice. Physical activity is important. Most people spend way too much time staring at a screen. Nothing wrong with a lacrosse chat though.

It's very simple . If you want to avoid the sideline experts on this forum just go to the USCL website for the rankings . You won't have to come on here and listen to dads prop their sons teams up. If you do you'll see 91 machine and express as the top 2 teams . And yes, machine is the best team on long island by far at this time . The rankings seem to be pretty good in terms of strength of schedule score that taken into account etc....

Curious how the Igloo WSYL All Star tryout was. We already had our WSYL tryouts, it was our regular team, lol. Play with the guys you got. How is it that Igloo can get away with skirting the rules?

You must be one of the 35 fools on Igloos everybody welcome regardless of affiliation all stars since they couldn't win with what they had in house. What happens they have to trim the all star roster to 24 kids? Will you get a refund? Will you try and move to another all star team? Igloo program has become everything that is wrong with youth lacrosse, especially on LI.

Don't forget.... you get to be coached by the B team coach. Total joke of a program.

Ha ha, that's exactly what I want for my son. Let's spend a few grand to go to WSYL which nobody cares about, and then get coached by that crew. NO THANKS.

They added a 4th team at 2027 age group.

Anyone know if WSYL is still happening next summer? No qualifiers scheduled yet.

I presume it is because it is all what LI Lax clubs talk about so they can boost marketing for the next year if they qualify and maybe 1 team has a chance to win it and maybe 3-4 a chance to qualify. Southern NY, CT, and MA teams will rain on the parade of a bunch of LI teams

A womens lacrosse player lost her life in a "tragic accident" this week. Instead of bashing each other and worrying about the small stuff like rankings, etc... We should take a step back and remember what's truly important.
