People who post comments putting others down are most likely trying to reinvent their failures through their children and then you have wonder about their child's abilities because if their child can play his or her performance speaks for its' self. The parent does not have to say anything in my opinion people who post on here about their child's abilities (or the lack of ability in others) are more then likely lying especially when posting without a name. I have read back a few pages and to the parent who posted that her 2014 fourth team player was approached by coaches good for her...or you but really do you need to stir the pot about it. We all know college coaches can't recruit off campus until July 1 (lax for the cure was in June). Next your child is going into her senior year, is she desperately seeking a team to play on to satisfy her parents and their so called investment or is she choosing where she wants to go...more then likely she is settling. Get off your soap box if your kid is recruited at a younger age most of them are going to go where THEY want...going into senior year your settling for the leftovers!!! Oh and wait I thought even YJ on fourth teams were D1 material..is that sad reality finally becoming a distant thought!!! Let your kids play bc they love to play and stay out of trouble and make great memories...don't let them play bc you had dreams of being a college athlete and never could!!!

You call it arrogance. How about your Team Elevate 2017 Coach D.K. Talking about screaming idiots, how many yellow cards has he gotten!!!!!!LOSER LOL LOL I call it stating the facts!

Let your kids play bc they love to play and stay out of trouble and make great memories...don't let them play bc you had dreams of being a college athlete and never could!!! There are- 92 D1 schools 67 D2 schools 216 D3 schools That's 375 teams with 30 kids per team thats 11,000 kids playing in college. Add the D1 and D2 together and you get about 5,000 girls, say half to 3/4 get some cash thats 2,500 - 3,000 kids with althletic scholorship. This shows that just 2% of HS Varisty players get money. pick a school that you would like to get your degree from as if you will never play another day of lacrosse. REMEMBER D1 is like having a fulltime Job, they own you until they don't want or need you anymore. Good Luck to all

Yes, my dtr is now a senior. As I stated ORIGINALY she is NOT D1 material and has never had a desire to play lacrosse in College at a large D1 school...not for HER. That doesn't mean that she is not an academic scholar with dreams like all the other laxers. Two years ago, SHE had aspirations of where/what SHE wanted to do with her 3.6 GPA and above average lax skills (not D1 caliber). SHE went to camps and was recognized by Coaches who also have seen her play various times in the past 2 years. She will be going to college to pursue HER career choice and enjoy playing the game she loves. No desperation here...just real good planning. YES...with scholarship money on both ends, full ride? Of course not, but enough to def have made the whole YJ experience worth it. Club is just not about D1 and the money to all of us.... We all have not given birth to the "top ten recruits of the class". There has been many lifes lessons and growth gained by our YJ experience, some good, some bad...But in the end it was all worth the journey for HER and her parents.

Good for her-
The best most any of these girls can hope for long term is to continuing playing in school for fun, get a degree from a stretch school that sports helped you get her into and maybe do some do some coaching when they are done for an average of about $5,000 per year which in the big picture is nothing!
Get that education!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any idea what the thinking was for CR and tracy to partner with Johns Hopkins coach to run a camp down there this year under prime time? She is listed as camp director. YJ south? Find it hard to believe they need a part time job like the rest of us.

I hope ASE this weekend is better then last week.
Babylon blast was terrible. I think all the finals were YJ-1 vs YJ-2. Did any of the teams even put up a fight?
I heard they needed security in the 2020 Curcio vs Jones game. And the parents were just as crazy in the 2019 Carro vs Bert game. 2018 final was YJ vs YJ played in pouring rain so that kept parents quiet. 2017 final was YJ vs YJ and another blowout.
Can you say "waste of time"

Can you say "waste of time" Why didnt YJ send any teams to the grind , why do they send all teams in all divisions all to the same tourney just to play against each other, sounds like a waste of time and money

Why didnt YJ send any teams to the grind , why do they send all teams in all divisions all to the same tourney just to play against each other, sounds like a waste of time and money For the last several seasons, the Yellow Jackets have been supporting the local Babylon LAX Blast Tournament. So, an open question to those who are looking to take their best shots : Where were you? The Babylon LAX Blast has thus far emerged as the best opportunity for the younger girls club teams to face off against each other ... on Long Island ... in a neutral environment. Hopefully next year, we can get some Yellow Jackets/Liberty/Top Guns matchups on the docket for the LAX Blast.

Too funny YJ sends teams to support a local tournament and all the TG crazies cannot stand it because they played in some joke of a tournament called the grind. How was your lax by 3 tournament real competitive, at least no one pretends the lax blast is a recruiting tournament .Good thing no college coaches actually attended your tournament or they would have seen your 2016s collapse.By the way your TG 2019 are driving to Delaware this weekend so the first game they play can be against each other , too funny.

I think the yj club should be comended for supporting another local club. should be done more by all the clubs. As for the tg 2016 collapse , they just got beat by the better team that day, give some credit to sc all stars. your point about the grind being some kind of a joke is for debate considering some of the clubs that were there
