Meh sure. Coaching is not the same at AA Sidewinders as it is at Hawks. heck, the coaching is a key factor in assessing top-to-bottom brackets within AAA and AA for sure. Facilities are not the same either (try playing on county turf, where the county cancels "all activities on all fields" 3x per week, all year long). Parents keeping up with their kids' workouts is not the same from AA to AAA to Elite, I can tell you that also.

To your point, none of this matters if a kid lacks sufficient talent or a work ethic. But for most kids already at these levels, these other things are very real variables.
Coaching is better at Hawks than anywhere else. Except of course the predators.

Predators coaching is beyond anything I have seen in Club.

Right. The Hawks coaching is so good they had to hold back several of the 27s over a couple of years to be relevant.

What do you think draws the higher IQ/more athletic/better lacrosse players to the elite clubs? Coaching!

If an Elite club starts losing games to teams it shouldn't then you would also blame that on the coaching I assume?

Team 91 is an "elite" club with "elite" coaching.
But...

The '26 team went 2-5 in Elite.
The '27 team went 1-5 in the Elite.
The 28 went 1-6...in AAA.

Only good thing about the 91 26 team is the attack and goalie dad buffoons. Great to watch them on the sideline!!!

'25 went undefeated last year and won 5 tournaments (I believe 48-0) - why did you forget them? Ranked #1 in the US

'23 has 18 D1 commitments.....and #1 player in the country. Forget them too?

Relax hater. Some teams have good years and not good the next, while some aren't great then rebound the next with a few additions. Why the detest for teams and not positive discussions on this board is absurd very telling....... Keep living through your son, hope he does better than you ever did.

Mark, we didn’t include the 25s because most are 24s and the ones that are true 25s now seem to be 26s. You can have your 23 team, the only one you put an ounce of effort into, and well we all know why.

Losing records in Elite, but when have the '26's or '27's lost to teams not in Elite? The OP's point was that Elite and AAA coaching are pretty much the same which is not the case.

The '25 and aboves were not mentioned because this is the '26 (youth) thread, not the hs thread. Pay attention, Mark. The 91 MS and youth teams are quite simply, not very good.

According to US Club Lacrosse - Annapolis Hawks is the only program to have a team ranked in the top 20 from 2022-2027

Gotta be the coaching!

Accurate.
MIAA JV teams can beat most public varsity teams.

Watch out for 91 this year. Already the best attack and goalie at 26. Add the new defensive pieces that joined and unless hawks and crabs improve dramatically we will be right there.

Hawks I expect will be very strong. Did the 91 goalie leave or get cut from last year?

How many holdbacks MM? I mean when the owner of the club holds his own son back strictly for recruiting purposes when he’s already one of the best at 2022; what do you think the rest of the organization is preaching to parents?

I would hope so. I mean wasn’t that the point when having half your 25 team reclass?
