Not a fan at all of any of it but those that think Booster clubs or sponsers giving money for athletes has not been happening the since the begining of time are silly. Just likle the holdback issue in this sport and all other sports. The difference is some know how to play the game better than others. We have to remember AS is new the scene as far MIAA A lacrossse and without Hawks 22 team they would still be lost in their old ways of losing ! losing games,losing players,losing sponsors and boosters.Problem now is that once its exposed(sloppiness) it shines light to the other schools whom had a great thing going for decades in this league. Right or wrong its the same thing that happened with Hawks 22 team over the years and most of the Hawks teams at the high school level.Crabs and FCA are the same. Who plays the behind the scenes better? If you cant beat them, lets recruit them. All schools and clubs do it but some do it better than others. If building an all star team is the only way to be successful than have it. Many lessons learned for those not along for that ride.Good life lessons.Even more silly is SJC crying foul with half their roster not even paying for gas money to and from school. So, again some do it better and have been for decades and others (fairly new to the scene) (AS and SJC) are sloppy and expsose themselves for thinking they might have just an ounce of Integrity. Baltimore schools has had this advantage for ever, especially over the AA county MIAA schools.

Due to the fact that it is allowed, Well technically it isnt, but all teams do it...so problem solved

Every year there is some team with recruit, transfer, overage player... No one cares as long as it isnt out of control..

Spalding invited EVERYONE to come! Every semi talented player in AA,Balto and Southern Md counties. Fact is only the red solo cup no backbone folks jumped in. The 'Hit the Wall' fanatics.In 5 years everyone who declined that invite will have forgotten but those red solo cup folks will remember and will still be playing follow the leader with no integrity. Remember this too, half those invites went to SJC where they do nothing but win.
If you cant beat them recruit them! Lots of great lessons for all those players and families that dont have blinders on.

Poor Poor guy, You just cant get over the no invite for your son , can you? It isnt that bad, promise, One day father time will end this nightmare for you. In the meantime have your son Hit The Wall ! Might help

But I’m sure some will say D3 is just at good as D1 or that D3 education is better.
