Anyone know how the Igloo World Series Tryouts go?

What is more interesting is if there are any other clubs trying to create World Series teams with B team coaches taking spots from their A players.

Worse business decision by an organization I ever saw. Have a tryout and then fee weeks later advertise anothe tryout.

I heard all the “A” players made the team and added some 2026 players. Plus, now there is an additional charge on top of the original tuition to be on the world series team - talk about double-dipping your players. What a joke, and highway robbery!

Igloo really went downhill. Bad leadership.

How would you like to be one of the 35 selected for an Igloo 2027 WSYL team from players all over LI. Keep in mind that the final roster only allows 24 kids. Oh wait, he did that to kids last year too. Now also keep in mind this is totally separate team and additional expense than the 2027 Igloo Kodiak Rush. Igloo can justify it any way they want, age eligible, other programs do it, Maryland does it, blah, blah, blah. For a program that used to advertise a different mission statement and being the anti-travel team. They are not anti anything. They are pro money, period. It begs the question is it really AA or does his advisory board have a financial stake in all these poor decisions. Sure seems like it.

AA is a banana. He's like Biden making all the wrong decisions over and over again.

Once any business puts money ahead of relationships, that is the beginning of the end.

Lack of ethical leadership. My guess is he's looking to boost numbers at all grades and cash out.

Yes, but definitely NOT Igloo. AA lost integrity a long time ago.

Rebels added 8 teams this year. Think about that for a while. It is a top all around program with the best communication, training, and practicing. Every team has min of 3 coaches. All teams at each age improved. Also had over 90 percent retention rate. Make your notIntelligent comments now. Better yet talk to parents that play with them. Hash tag ON THE RISE

Why is adding 8 teams a good thing??

I’m a believer in 1 team per age bracket. Clubs go off the rails when they start making AA, A, B ....

Your right losing teams is better. Turtles are where it’s at man. Only organization that owner looks like team name.

91, Express, etc have 2nd teams which can beat most teams anywhere in the USA.

91 does it right.

They have the best 2nd team, then Express. Not sure who has the next best 2nd teams yet. There is a lot of parity now. @nd teams really can become top A teams as these kids get older. It all depends on how much emphasis the clubs put on training and getting better players.

Rebels coaching is great. Yes they added 2 Nd teams at all grades grade. Of coarse you will find something wrong with that. Every team practices/ trains 3-5 times a week. Again that has to be a negative. The Rebel owner works 16-18 hour days, no time for him to be posting.

Makes sense. Another factor for development is what top clubs with B teams have Daddy coaches? I would stay away from that situation. How are the coaches of the top 5: S2S, Express, 91, Rebels, Igloo

Rebels are top 5 ? I can’t wait until this season starts.

The Rebels just hosted the Blatant Fall Kick Off in DE last weekend. The 26 Rebels and 27 Rebels lost every single game. Despite having multiple teams and great coaches and being the team "on the rise" they went winless. Good luck with the whole top 5 thing.

S2S, Igloo, Legacy, 91 Rage are all 2nd tier after those 2

Blatant had a tournament in DE this weekend and I believe the 26 rebels and the 27 rebels lost every game. somehow the results were deleted from tourney machine already.

Who did they lose to if you were there?

Believe rebels lost to jersey express by 1 or 2 and legacy by a few. Was good to get early games in, nothing to read into- these teams probably had a few practices each

How is Express Haugen listed as #2 ? They lost to Machine 11-2 last season.....

Because they likely have the best player in the grade and the best coaching, maybe…

They tried to form one after this tryout season
