My kid just asked about possibly playing for 91 next season. Never wanted to before now. I’ll let him tryout and see what he thinks. He may change his mind by tryout time. I’m not going to pick his team for him. Let him see what is out there and decide from what he thinks. May not make a move, but I would consider it if he wanted to. Could be a different landscape next season. Possibly a bunch of player moves. WSYL will be done with. Things should be a bit more normal school and sports and overall. We’ll see. What grade?

It’s not that hard. Call the coach? Big clubs don't even tell you who will be coaching your son. They will also tell you want you want to hear. It is a business, as unfortunate as that is. Better to ask older players and their parents what their experience was with that coach or team.

Wait until your son gets to high school and all the directors from Express don't do ANYTHING for recruiting for any of the kids on the team - double whammy for those who have one of the directors as your Varsity or JV coach. Good times.

I agree. My son would not be committed without the Express. The second the school showed interest, the Director reached out immediately and helped tremendously.

People can bash and joke all they want. My som is just starting the recruiting process and Express is doing more than I expected and he’s not that top 10%. Ask questions and don’t be a donk and they help.

Just being on the A team isn't the only thing. If your coach looks after your son, it can make all the difference.

He did nothing wrong he is suffering for his mother’s actions. He is still a child not even in HS yet His mother is the one who should pay the price. Hopefully this will teach other parents how to act towards others and to respect all people. The kids pay the price for your actions.

He's a friend of my son's and a good kid. Doesn't deserve this if it's true.

How exactly can the club punish the mom without impacting the kid? Ban her from games and team stuff. Simple! Don’t punish a kid. He’s not at fault. That’s terrible.

Lacrosse does not generate that much money for them to have to deal with nut jobs. There is always another player just as good who don’t have crazy parents.

No public apology from the organization is really bad Public apology for what? Why does the organization owe an apology for a parent of a player that did something? How is that the clubs fault? The woman should apologize … period. And, nothing should be taken out on the kid by the club! Lots of kids have parents that do dense things, Nothing to do with the club or kid!

No public apology from the organization is really bad Public apology for what? For parents representing the Express organization spewing hateful and belligerent remarks to Native American families. Why won’t the Express organization issue an apology for the actions of their members and denounce what occurred. People are still waiting and have not forgotten!

Are there express parents that witnessed this? I saw a Video from a Regulators parent and the Express mom really seems controlled and was explaining the table and there was other women trying to insult her. They were not irate as if they were severely insulted. Just curious what the real truth is and the video made me severely doubt it was true

They were not irate as if they were severely insulted. Just curious what the real truth is and the video made me severely doubt it was true Exactly. The truth is somewhere in between. It didn’t start off negative and the women from express wasn’t yelling and screaming at them. She asked them to leave the table so the express kids could eat. Things spiraled out of control when the parents sitting at the table refused to leave the table. Things were said that were taken the wrong way. “You don’t belong here” was in reference to sitting at the wrong table not they didn’t belong at the WS. Other things were said. Things did get a little heated. But this whole thing has been blown up to something it is not. My feeling is that the person who keeps posting wanting an apology was not even there. If they were, they would know the real story and it would be a non story

Parents are not part of the organization. They don’t represent a club. If a kid is on a team and wears the Jersey he is responsible for his action and if he does something inappropriate the club/team does not agree with, then he should be kicked off. The team is not responsible for what a parent says or does. If a parent says derogatory racist stuff to people?? That’s on them, personally. They are not representation for a club. If the kid did it, different story. Then the team should kick them off. Could you imagine if teams had to apologize for every dense thing these parents are doing at the tournaments!
