If the Preds are up at St. Pauls, they would have to draw from Crabs and FCA and I can't see their kids jumping for a new club. True Annapolis has tons of unhappy kids since the coach is pretty awful, but they won't commute from Annapolis or Kent Island to St. Pauls. What are the chances Preds stay closer to AACO? If that’s the case, it sounds like it would be a good move for Predators. They will get some good players. Crabs and FCA plus other clubs will lose out to them, And especially the St Pauls boys and Towson HS boys. Predators look to be a force in Balt sooner than we think. Yeah looking at predators Instagram they may just have enough people that tried out to make a complete team. Their gear is already up for sale and terrible looking. But please continue to promote this future powerhouse lacrosse club. I think someone's son didnt get an invite to try out for one of the better up and coming clubs in Balt, or is it a cut issue? Stop the blame game and look inward. Maybe elite lacrosse isnt his cup of tea, Little advice, lacrosse can be fun at any level for children as long as parents dont get embarrassed .

It’s all bs.
Made up drama.
The reality is one dad is insecure about a new club, for no reason, just trying to troll the board by being obnoxious.

That’s exactly how it works The trickle effect is always amusing. Johnny was cut by team x. Jimmy from team y tried out for team x and makes team. Jimmy accepts because he’s given 24hrs to make decision. Jimmy still tries out for hawks and makes it. Roster acrobatics commence.

They should of taken your son and family out to dinner with coaches so you get to know them. Told you exactly when and where practices are so they know it’s convenient for you. Also get your input on the best tournaments for the team since I’m sure you know more then any of those coaches. Just sign up for whatever team you want and move on with your life.

Why would you sign up for a team if you didn’t know who the coach was?
Why would you sign up for a team of you didn’t know where they practice?
Why would you sign up for a team if you didn’t know what type of tournaments they will participate in?
“Just trust the club” Says people who are chasing a club name, not proper player development.

Also player development has nothing to do with parents knowing where practice is held and what tournaments play in. Your son isnt getting recruited in 7th grade get over it. You people have to find better things to complain about.

I don’t m ow of any club that has the full tournament schedule posted at tryouts. It’s sort of impossible as the tournaments aren’t even remotely set.
Unless you just want some club to lie to you?
what clubs don’t have coaches and practice locations? Is this a real issue??

The issue is that families want to know their options (other teams) before committing. Here's my advice. If your son is in the top 25-50% of the talent pool on a team that makes an offer, you can ignore the 24-48 hour request. No matter what they say, they will take him any time. But if he is on the bottom half of the roster and you generally like the team, you should go ahead and sign up.

We've practiced same place at same time on same day for three years now, with same coaches and a quick google search and tell you which tournaments they are likely to play in. I get the 24 hr commitment rule, they are competing with other clubs, you want to know who your roster is so you can extend plan B kids if you do not accept.
