McD??? Lots of downtime on those schedules. Middle of pack for this school. Sports academy with a school next door.

Which coach ?

That kid and coach left on the 2026 team and the 2027 team

The really heavy guy?

RR 2027 Pa - same thing, NOT ONE player returned, mass exodus. Program just wanted to hoist trophies not develop players, Doug didn’t listen even 2027 coaches kid left for team ten.

Makes sense all the negative posts on here

Yup TT meanie dads coaches trying to poach better talent.

2026 maryland roughriders have completely fallen apart. Half of the team left, 4 to "elite" teams and some to local rival teams. The coach could not bring in any solid talent to replace them. One coach stepped down and took his kid to another team, another coach took his kid to another teams tryout....lots of empty promises on that team. People were warned at the start of the spring season about the coach and his coaching abilities.

There is no chance that they stay AAA, if they can field a team, it will be a solid A level team.

Too bad that Corrigan only cared about his tournaments and forgot all about his team. Nothing of note below the 2022 team. Those kids and families deserve better. Hopefully they can catch on somewhere before all spots are filled.

This was the last of the RR MD teams. No '27 or below. Heard that the PA RR teams were blowing up also. This has been in the making for years, and yes CSE never paid any attention to the actual playing side of the biz. Sad since there aren't really any good options in Howard County.

They have completely punted the local teams and put all focus on running the UA tourneys and building the RR Pennsylvania club. There’s much less competition in Philly and they already have some good teams there so why try and compete in MD?

Corrigan has let MD RoughRiders fall apart for years while buying/starting clubs in Va./Pa. He is all about tourneys and other events. He has no interest in being in club business in MD. He is collecting a check from parents with minimal effort on his part. All teams except 2022 unravel by hs.

Philly is falling apart too, not one player from the PA 2027 returned and the 27 was their best team in PA

That’s good to hear because there are great families and kids on the team.

Was Predators able to field a team? They was a lot of buzz about them on these forums. Since tryouts there hasn’t been much.

Team shed a handful and replaced them. Happens to most teams, that's why they hold tryouts.

True, but the idea is to get better, not noticeably worse.

Maybe you should focus on coaching the team and not just putting the ball in your son's stick and people will not leave.

They had decent numbers at most age groups. LOt of players from North Balt/Towson were there. FCA, Crabs, were there

And when only getting together 1x per week all fall, that time is better spent practicing.

8-10 Hawks are playing football for Severna Park, South River, GORC and OM
4-5 kids are playing soccer

This Hawks team will play in 2 fall tourneys and practice but wont play in the fall league. Glad to see our kids playing other sports and not getting burned out

I agree on the practice over fall games if that is your only chance to get together. Especially if teams have turnover. Most teams will play in a few tournaments in November and get 7-10 games in after a few months of practice.

The amount of games the Hawks have played during the year which is over 50. They've played more games per US Club Lacrosse than every other than Express

That’s good for other teams. HOCO happened last fall without the Hawks. If kids/teams want to play in the fall that’s great. One of the reasons why we joined the Hawks is because it allowed my son to play other sports in the fall. We don’t want to do both. My goodness the lacrosse season is long enough.

This thread is a cripple fight from start to finish. There should be a separate Hawks 2026 thread for people to sling poo at each other and then another to discuss the 300 2026 club teams in Baltimore and AA county.
