Wow,just wow.Im a 2018 Terp player. Good game everytime we play 91,orange and white,crabs,Dukes,Bucks,Laxachussetts,Edge,Team LI,Superstars,Texas. We have won lots of tournaments and lost some too,played lots of teams and had lots of fun.All of us know it can happen on Any given day of the week.We all have injuries and different players playing for each game.Sometimes we each play better or worse.It happens to ALL of us.Just play the game and win or loose say good game.Its over on to the next game.

Great attitude young man. You are a credit to your parents and coaches. Keep your head on straight.

What happen to Team LI, Express Orange, West Coast Stars, Looneys......?

Too expensive, and 35 minute games are a challenge to get good amt of playing time in,heat advisory in the past years shorten the games to 20 mins,and some years gamescancelled and not rescheduled.fri mandatory game is difficult on families traveling,lots of other great tourns that are better!

Ditto - Ditto - Ditto and Ditto + crazy prices for hotels, hard to get into restaurants. I always hated this tourney

Amen! Lousy fields, lousy refs, brutal weather, Friday game so you have to get a Hotel (who jack up the prices) yeah not going to miss this one.

2018 Express terps, west cost stars, crabs, and a bunch of other good teams down in Baltimore this weekend at crab tourny. SHould be a good one.

Great tourny in Blatimore this weekend. Very hot, but great lax. 2018 terps went 4 and 1 lossing to the crabs in the semifinal. West coast stars, team from Penn, Edge from Canada very strong, crabs strong as ususal. Did not get to see the Madlax national team but heard they were also very strong...

Crabs beat Terps 5-1, hard fought game but Crabs goalie played amazing. Save after save...

Great season Express Terps, enjoyed watching the boys improve over the course of a long season!

Great job by the 2018 91 White team for winning the Legacy Cup Tournament this weekend. What a great performance by the whole team. Great job boys!

Congrats to all the 2018 boys who went to the Brine Nationals, 2018 should have a great showing and possibly do as well as the 2017 LI teams performed this year. Excellent event. I suggest everyone try out to make the Brine Nationals team.

where and when are all these tryouts posted?

for this past session the Brine Tryout was in December for LI - their website is not yet updated for next year

for Blue Chip it is now

if you are referring to the Blue Chip events, they are invite only, you must register to be invited for next year 2014. Invitees will be notified and the end of September. I believe these events are only for HS. You can go to the Blue Chip website for more information.

Next year, 2018s go. It is not invitation based, but application based. You can apply on their website and need to apply before September as acceptances are sent in September for a January 2014 clinic/tryout in Florida. If you do well in Florida (Top 120 out of 600) you get to go to Maryland in July 2015 for the Jake Reed event.

Believe it or not, in a few weeks, just as these boys start 8th grade, they are no longer considered middle schoolers but are classified as "rising freshmen"

So as a 2018 you should be applying now? Or September 2014?

If you want to play in Jan of 2014 and have a chance for July 2014 (playing as a rising Freshman) than you need to apply now.

If you want to avoid this until you are a rising sophomore than you can wait until next sumer to apply

Or avoid the whole thing and just wait for the invite to come in the mail...instead of going to FL in the winter to tryout for a spot in the summer

My son plays for 91 Extreme, and spent last week at the Chaminade camp with 5 or 6 of his teammates and the same number of Express 2018 (and some 2017) Terps. They had a ball playing together. My son said he really liked the Express boys he met, played with and hung out with - they were friends at camp at will compete against each other for years, which is the way it's supposed to be.

That would be nice. But we all know it wont last,the next time you play each other remind your son of the friendships,maybe he can be the change.

i think the boys will be fine - it's parent behavior which leaves you scratching your head. The things being said and done by various parents at Patriot Games this past weekend were really amazing...it leaves you shaking your head. The kids will be fine if the parents could put a filter on their sideline rants.

Why what happened at patriot games?

a parent argument after one game where one dad invites another to go into the parking lot and settle things as their boys who just played a championship game come off and are looking at the dads...a dad standing with his son screaming 'lucky...lucky...lucky' at an attackmen who had just finished off a nice ball movement play - the dad screamed it six times as his son listened....i don't know, maybe it was the heat, maybe it was the stress of it being the last tournament of the Summer and guys are anxious about roster spots...i don't know, but it was a little weirder than usual..

No - more of an end of the season, parental behavior was poor in PA comment - not team specific.

The nasty argument between parents was not the 91 game. Was parents from the game before that had just finished. So lets not start any BS here.

The argument was between BBL Elite 2017 and Dukes dads. Had nothing to do with 91 or Express. Stop stirring the pot

And so it continues,the season just ended and already coaches and parents are making attempts to recruit players to switch teams! Amazing, look out nobody's roster spot is safe!!

Come on, you can't leave that one hanging - which teams are supposedly scooping which players? Let the poaching discussions begin!

There is a guy going around to all the top programs and asking their best kids if they want to form a "super" team. The guy is like a billionaire out of the some place on the north shore. He's paying for everything...guys name is S. Finch. Should be interesting....

stop the insanity, every kid is a free agent and not just year to year but week to week and game to game, no contracts and no loyalty either way. until someone wants to pay my kid to play for them he is under no obligation and as long as there are tryouts the team is under no obligation to the kids year to year, whats next, a team is going to set up some friendly games after the season and then have a kid from another team come down and play with them? that would never happen, next month are tryouts good luck to all.
